Seems to be a theme of poor service when you read the reviews. Came here with a group of 10 around mid-morning. No one else dining in, just a few coffee takeaways.
We ALL ORDERED coffees, cakes & some more substantial brunch. Whilst the lady with the short hair came out with coffees, she took offence at a few people sitting there with wrappers (empty wrappers people took out of their pockets - not consumed on premises) & told us there’s snacks to purchase instore and NOT to eat anything not purchased there. Yesterday it was hot chips... They would stand up next to any home cooked roast as they could be eaten from the bag, or on the plate as a delicious side.. Using very local potatoes, they were crispy and shaken in pink salt and home grown rosemary..
The previous day it was fresh, home made delicious salads of freekah, lentils, vegetables, fetta, tahini (plus lots more) and a sprinkling of slivered almonds added to the take away container.... Thanks Dale, I am sure your retirement plans will be short lived with food and service...
