- The staff were well mannered, attentive and helpful (5 stars) - the location is next to an amazing new kids park, meaning a huge influx of parents have and will start coming (as is the case at 3 before 10 next door). - the menu doesn't quite hit the mark for the demographic (other users have shared). The target appears higher priced fancy dining (although I'll be going back for poutine!), then mixed with a few token pub classics, which probably should be the centre of the show. - food portions were not large, parmi ranks very low, the ratio of cheese and sauce to schnitzel doesn't feel right - appears to be sliced cheese as opposed to mozzarella which you may typically get. Due to good service and location I'll keep going back, and after a menu update most punters appear to be asking for I'll revisit and do another review. There's a huge population in the area that are looking for a good standard pub to go to, most of the demographic are young families and this is really perfectly located.

A casual gastropub with a solid bar (lunch) menu and finer dining menu (from 5pm onwards). Despite being a wine bar showcasing a range of local wines, the on tap beers (and a cider) will accommodate and interest the majority. Excellent and knowledgeable service (Hey Andy!) in a relaxed atmosphere. I really enjoyed what I had today and look forward to exploring more of the menu. A suberb addition to the Denman Prospect locale. Interesting daily specials on offer. Excellent! *****

Absolutely outstanding meal tonight in the suburbs. Couldn’t fault our choice of duck leg and deconstructed beef Wellington. The duck had a stunning orange hoisin sauce with sweet potato , cooked to perfection. I had the beef Wellington with mushroom duxelles and vegetables. The beef was tender and plentiful. We certainly didn’t need the sides. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.. We’ll be back!

It’s snow prices but at least you’re in a place with a bit of ambience and the foods got a bit of ritz about it which makes the price worthwhile. The Cajun chicken burger from the bar was a true standout. Couldn’t believe how much I enjoyed the charred pineapple on this one. Lost a star for no chips with the burger and I’m assuming no chicken salt on premises. Also disappointed that there was not enough tokens to complete a full competitive connect-four game. Tokens need refilling asap and to the customers stop stealing the connect-4 tokens, it’s the lowest...

It's a cafe restaurant that doesn't sell coffee... you have to go next door to buy coffee and bring it in yourself. I'm not joking. I had a paper takeaway coffee cup while having a sit down meal. Ridiculous. Oh yeah, and the coffee was cold. The menu is limited, and feels overpriced. The burgers are completely flavourless and the schnitzels are dry and hard. The gravy had literally no flavour. Also they aren't open for breakfast. I could have overlooked all of this if the burger tasted good. How hard is it to make a burger? Too...
