Amazing food and the service was good. We had the eggs Benedict with bacon, it is also offered with mushrooms and salmon. The eggs were perfectly cooked, with ample sauce. The bacon was crispy with not being over done. Yum. Roma Republic on Marri Road in Duncraig is a fantastic local gem! The food and coffee were excellent, with a great vibe, very friendly service, and a real sense of community. I had the scrambled eggs on toast – a generous portion and absolutely delicious. My partner had the brekkie bagel and really enjoyed it. We were really let down by the food. My steak sandwich was mostly bread, with unseasoned meat that was full of gristle and basically inedible. My wife’s spicy scramble was another disappointment, overloaded with chunky onion and too many unnecessary ingredients.

The kids’ half pancake was fine, nothing special. The chips were the only highlight.
