Kenny's Thai Kitchen — Restaurant in Forster

Food was good, but poor service ruined it. Sticky chicken wings good. Tom yum goong strange colour and lacked punch. Tom ka gai balance was wrong. Golden nuggets brown and dry. Barramundi great. Pork belly very good. We turned up with no booking at 5:45pm to an empty restaurant and were told fully booked. It was weird to see an empty restaurant and be turned away, but booked is booked. Then she said people were booked at 7. We had over an hour to be in and out, but she didn't offer us a table. We didn't expect to take someone's table at their booked time, but we expected an alternative. No mention of takeaway or get the food and eat downstairs, or eat fast. We said we'd be quick so the waitress indignantly allowed us a table near the kitchen. We felt unwelcome. We ate quick and were gone with the restaurant still empty. The food deserves 4 stars...the service zero. I recommend takeaway so you get the good food, but avoid the staff who don't want to accommodate people. I feel sorry for the chef's who obviously care about good food being stuck with those staff who are probably provided...

Worst Thai ever!

We have been attempting to get a table here for the past 3 years, but always booked out!

We finally managed to dine here for lunch last week and looked forward to a good meal, which started out well with the appetizers.

After that it was downhill all the way, from the Crispy Chicken with Coconut rice and the Pad Thai dish my husband ordered.

The crispy chicken was NOT crispy, the rice was as dry as anything with no hint of coconut. the whole dish had been heated up and microwaved to death, hence the lack of crispiness, the dryness of the rice and the scalding heat of the vegetables. The Pad Thai dish was devoid of any sauce to combine the noodles with the veggies and prawns, far too dry.

In all the worst Thai experience we have ever come across - the meals were terrible and Kenny should be ashamed!

We also realised why it is so difficult to get a table too - if you only want a table for two they don't have many and wont offer you a table that is set for 4! Another con to make you think that this restaurant is so popular! Kenny you are a joke...

Went to Kenny’s tonight’s as the first time we went it was awesome, this time not so much. When we turned up there were 4 different lots of people waiting to be seated, there was no staff in sight, we saw some staff standing in the doorway to what looked to be hiding from those waiting to be served, 1 of them ventured out and seated one lot of waiting people, when we asked if we could sit down without a reservation as there were heaps of tables with no people seated at them she said you’ll have to wait for the lady and she quickly disappeared out a door, we waited around for ‘that lady to appear’ who didn’t make an appearance so we left as did the other people and we all ended up down stairs at the cafe where we were quickly served and had...
