Having been disappointed at Verge 301 we were hoping for something better, and a look at the menu at CU looked promising. We ordered gf Oceanlover - a surf and turf with local beef. Initially it came out with chips - not gf but the staff member apologised and it was not overly long before replacements arrived. And so tender and delicious was that steak! Yummy sauce! Really good! With an extra big salad to make up for the lack of chips. So many places just leave off stuff, and you pay the same, but these folks were very considerate. It was yummy salad too! Very nice surrounds, and great staff! Thank you!

Come for the views. Don't stay for the food. The coffee was good. The lamb koftas were a joke. $30 for three deep fried sausages on a stick, really.. Who deep fries koftas? They were tasteless and tiny and without the hommus would have been nothing but door-stops on spinach. Looking at the other food around me there was nothing to sing about. Attached are a pic of koftas from the shop. Twice the size and actually taste like food. This Cafe could buy these and easily still turn a decent profit at $30 a serve.

The old favorite CU at the Park next to the Gingin Brook in town is back, after renovations! We come here often and every time we receive the same : good food and fantastic service. My favorite is the pumpkin salad , always fresh and just the right amount of yummy dressing and pinenuts.Love the added crunchy haloumi. My friend enjoys his seafood dishes...tried many of them and everytime he says its the best...Every time we are greeted with a big smile and the service is fantastic.

Visited here recently with my family based on good google reviews. Lunch menu wasnt too bad but quite expensive as a cafe menu. Our food was quite ok but nothing special. Ordered a kids meal for my son which as per the menu came with salad and fries. When it arrived it was pasta in an bowl similar size to an ikea kids bowl with nothing else. We were quite shocked as this is $12 on the menu. We queried with staff if there should be fries at least. We were then asked if we wanted them, when it should have come regardless as its the set menu item. Not even friendly service from the waitstaff who arrived back with the fries salad, put then on the table and walked off.

Other staff were very friendly, waitress who served us seemed almost put out when we as the customers should have been the ones who were unhappy here.

We also ordered coffees for ourselves with lunch. They were again expensive at $5 each but thought...if the coffees good we were ok with the price. Think again...the coffee is terrible.

Based on the reviews posted, as a traveller we expected a nice cafe experience and were on this occasion very disappointed. We would be unlikely to come back to this cafe or...

What a wonderful time we had at CU@Park Cafe today! It was a lovely sunny day and even though the cafe was busy, I noticed how friendly and helpful the staff were as we waited to order our meals. All our food was amazing, and we weren’t rushed to finish our food, so had a perfect Sunday lunchtime chatting with our friend. The tables were all cleared of finished plates, so that people looking for a table, didn’t have to sit down at a table full of plates, etc. We went to look at the desserts and again, the staff were friendly and helpful, in describing the choices available. It is such a beautiful spot, I can’t think of anywhere else that can beat it. Thank you to all of the staff at CU@Park Cafe for making our...

Fantastic town with so much beautiful heritage and super special, friendly people. Thanks for the tour of the beautiful little St Lukes church (sorry I've forgotten your name ,see photos❤️) We had a really necessary and yummy Latte and Chai at this wonderful Cafe.Super staff and real laid back spacious vibe in the outdoor sitting area( perfect for a friend catchup, date or young family explore in the country )as you look over pristine lawns and all set off to the soothing sound of the beautiful old water wheel . Called into the local shop ,super clean well stocked and again so refreshing to have that genuine county town hospitality. Highly recommend a spin in the countryside for a chill...
