Once bitten, twice shy. I should have followed this saying. Staying nearby for work, so what better than a few pots and a parma. Ordered my Parma and beer, then sat down, think I had two sips of my beer, and the Parma was in front of me, geez that was quick I thought, especially with it being a Saturday night and the place was very busy. After the first bite of my chip, it was soggy and it became very clear that it had been on the plate for awhile. I then gave the parma a go, and it became very clear that the meal was cooked a long time before being ordered, as it was cold and soggy also. Again tonight, and after a big day at work, I thought I would give the place another go, what a mistake that was. I ordered a medium scotch fillet, and thought let's see how long it takes to come out. Well bugger me, here it arrives at the table within 5 minutes. Surely it can't have been sitting there, waiting for someone to order it, nope, it was freshly cooked, but the only problem this time was, I cut it open and it was still mooing at me. At least the chips were hot and fresh, but I had to send the steak back, not only mine, but the lovely couple next to me also had to send their two steaks back, as one of them ordered a well done steak, yet somehow it was even more rare than mine. After sending it back, it came out again within 5 minutes and I commented to the lovely wait staff that it was very quick. This time it was clear that the steak had been sitting there for a long time as it was like chewing on my old work boots. The Pub itself is beautiful, the staff are all fantastic and very nice, just not sue if they have the right person doing the cooking. I will be staying in the area for awhile, but will definitely not being going back for the food. Much better pubs and food...

Absolutely appalled at the treatment of myself and my family on Mother's Day no less. Made a booking over a week earlier and arrived to be told that we were on 2 tables to be pulled together. We wanted an outdoor table and they hussled to try and get one, then told us they had one for a seating of 11 people. When we told them there was only 7 of us, and that's all we booked for, they scratched their heads and realized they had seated us on the wrong table inside as well. We had been there and seated for over 20 minutes. An extremely rude lady then told me this half way through me ordering our lunch at the counter, and to be frank, I lost it! These people have no idea how to run a hospitality establishment, and don't deserve the clientele they do have The food may have come promptly, but it was mediocre at best! The Kulkyne chicken was as dry as old boots and my salad may have had maybe 6 pieces of thinly sliced pork belly through it. Absulte rubbish. I will never go back there again and I urge anyone wanting to give it a try to give it a miss big time! You'd get a better meal at the Buronga Roadhouse up the road! And better service! Booked at table for 17 people. Rang to confirm booking the night of surprise party. They had no recollection of the event happening. Had to rebook - luckily there were enough tables. As we arrived, nothing was set up. We had to set the tables up by ourselves. Which had ruined the surprise birthday. Ordered our meals. One meal was left out and was wrong order. Asked the waitresses, they were quite rude and said "your meal is coming". Everyone started eating. Still no meal for said person. Everyone had finished eating by the tome the meal arrived. We asked for a refund. Waitresses declined as they dont do take away. Then asked for a refund. They declined again and said they dont offer refunds. We were about to do the cake. Asked the ladies to bring cake out. We waited 10 minutes, only for the staff to ask us for $20 to use their plates. I was never aware of this. So we declined and decided to leave, without doing the cake. As my relative was leaving, she overhead the staff talking about me to the other staff. Not impressed.
