We stayed here for two nights with our 5 month old. San and Catalina were the best hosts! The cottage was very cosy. The temperature in the mountain was cool but there were many heaters and a fluffy duvet to keep us warm. There was even an electric blanket (although we didn't need it..). We enjoyed exploring the beautiful garden... And the lookout was a mere 5 min walk away. Just down the road are many walks, picnic areas, shops etc. ||One of the best parts of staying here though were the scones. Holy moly. One of the best scones that we have ever eaten. Soft, yet crunchy and crumbly on the outside. Paired with home made blueberry jam and cream - please do yourself a favour and try them. And perhaps even buy a ton of them to take away (they are so easy to warm up - just cut them in half and grill each side to warm them up and make them crunchy on the outside again) ||Thank you for having us!! We will...

This is a very quirky place strategically placed at the end of the Springbrook Road right across the road from a waterfall. We were hungry and went in. There were 2 cakes on offer; both looked delicious. A cheese cake and a carrot cake oozing cream cheese icing. Perfect. We ordered coffee and cake. The cakes we were given were not the cakes displayed on the counter. The cheesecake was covered in nutmeg and the carrot cake had the very thinnest smear of icing on the top and to sandwich it. When we left; sure enough the cakes we had looked at and said we wanted a slice of were still in 1 piece and had no slices taken out of them. We thought that was pretty sneaky. Cakes were $10 each. Other people ordered lunch and the offerings actually looked delicious so maybe that's a better bet, or insist you want the cake they present at the counter. Good luck. Other...

Sunday drive with my dear old mum, and we chose here to be our destination. It is run by a mature Taiwanese couple. They are so friendly and helpful. There is a ramp entrance to the building. Just go in and ask for the gate to be unlocked to access the ramp. The food is fresh and nicely cooked, and mum reports that the coffee was good. The menu of mains is limited, but tasty and serving size to price point is good for being up a mountain. We enjoyed the fish n chips, spring rolls, and pork with rice. Will be very cosy come winter when the fire gets lit. Nice outside seating areas as well when the weather is warm. Great place to stop in after having done one of the many walks up on Springbrook.

Located at the very end point of the springbrook national park. Was checking out all the lookout and saw this cafe at the very end. Decided to give it a try. Plenty of parking places outside so parking will not be a problem. The design inside is great. Cozy. Hidden gem in springbrook. The cafe is operated by a lovely Taiwanese couple. Very friendly and nice. The food is great. I can't complain about it. They have some signature tea as well but I didn't give it a try. Overall it is a very good experience. Luckily I have the chance to try it before my trip in springbrook national park comes to an end. Recommended!

Tucked away from the popular areas like Purlington Falls. Drive up to the Canyon Lookout and Goomoolahre Lookout to find this gem. WARM WELCOME Zen creates beautiful pottery and freshly baked scones, While Catalina cares for the gardens and makes the delicious jams you enjoy with the scones. GARDENS It was wet and raining when I visited, the gardens looked very welcoming from inside the Cafe. COFFEE, SCONES & JAM The coffee was hot and had no bitter after-taste. The scones were freshly baked and the homemade blueberry jam delicious. Strongly recommend
