Springbrook Yowie sighting: Was sitting there minding my own business then got the feeling I was being watched... anyway I look behind me and this massive thing comes up (a real beefy boy), IT WAS HUUUUGE. I didn't know whether to approach it or run away. Was definitely a yowie... burger. AND it was delicious! Don't listen to the goose who said it was a two bite burger... maybe he was a yowie himself? Anyway, this was a lovely little cafe, great food, staff had beautiful smiles and made you feel very welcome. Would 100% recommend to anyone passing through.

I visited this cafe on a Saturday at 5:10 PM, but the kitchen and bar were already closed—the staff member told me the cafe was closing, even though the hours on Google Maps indicated otherwise. Fortunately, there were some pastries available, and I got one along with a drink from the fridge. The place is clean, with a nice atmosphere. There are also activities like darts and billiards, and you can buy printed canvas paintings for 199 AUD. It would be great if the opening hours matched the actual schedule to avoid confusion for visitors.

Nice little Cafe close to all lookout. Serves burgers and chips, pies, sausage rolls, tastiest, coffee, fish and chips, smoothies, milkshakes etc. We ordered a beef burger $13.50 and fish burger $14 and they both were made fresh and tasted good. Also bloody good salted hot chips. The place also have a bar license and keep a small stash of alcohol cans and bottles too. Would definitely recommend. Also have high chair for kids.

These new owners thought they’d have a try and I’m sorry but As a local just don’t go there I assisted them when they first started up. Did some work for them for free and now they’re all sitting there on Christmas Day saying open but everything is shut there sitting there and will not even sell a local a packet of cigarette papers one says they don’t have any other says we’re closed up. The food is pretty poor. I worked in the hospital industry for about 30 years and I was never allowed to drink while I was serving alcohol like Christmas Day guys and you can even sell me a packet of papers which lie is it you’re closed out or there are none. I thought when these guys started they were gonna be great. Everything they said sounded awesome and just nothing has worked out if you want to wait up to 50 minutes for coffee. That’s your problem. I go up the road to fudge shop if I was you. and just general drunkenness in the evening is pretty bad just walking my dog past there. It’s such a shame you guys haven’t worked out to the way you said you would. You’re not really even tried. I mean you can’t even sell locals milk or sugar I don’t understand why people think they can do this stuff. Tell everybody what they’re gonna do and then they just don’t work out sorry guys but after the service and the way you spoke to me today on Christmas Day, I had to give this review to stay away people they’re not worth going to. They constantly have problems with staff because they don’t pay them properly. Cashish I believe I’ll never walk into that place ever again while the owners are there disgusting behaviour sitting out the front drinking. with open signs but walkway blocked off Merry shitmas thanks so much. not the best way to start your first 3 to 4 months yeah only locals That really go there now are only just the mountain drunks. Can’t wait to see...

I’m not one to typically leave reviews but after my experience at this cafe I decided to take a few minutes out of my day to write this. My friends and I came to this cafe looking to get an iced latte before our morning hike. Upon entering the cafe, we were instantly met with the most awkward, unwelcoming and just plain weird atmosphere…this was only the beginning.

To start, they had a very small selection of menu items, and no iced coffee options. Additionally, their cold drink fridge looked like it hadn’t been restocked in months, our only options were either a can of coke or a 1.25L watermelon juice. We ended up ordering some green teas and a long black coffee, as well as a BLT and bacon/egg roll. During ordering a guy came from the kitchen holding a plate of banana bread and gave it to my friend to give to a customer outside like she worked there or something. So strange. The barista kept asking me if I wanted sugars in my coffee but it wasn’t my order. She continued to ask me again and again.

Once we received our order, my friend’s long black cup was only filled 1/4 full. $7 for a sip of coffee? She then ordered a toasted banana bread and it came out not toasted. We asked the waitress to take it back and toast it. She was gone for 1 minute and came back…and it was still not toasted!!! Just ridiculous. The green teas were okay but the waitress kept coming over to ask if we wanted sugar with it after we already said no. It was just strange. The BLT and bacon roll was okay but certainly not worth the price we paid. To top it all off, there was this cockroach that was just chilling on our table the whole time, which tells you everything you need to know. This placed lacked in their food, service and most of all…their atmosphere. We will...

Seriously the worst Cafe experience! Where do I start?!....nothing was right about this place....understaffed, ( 1 woman taking orders)...unhygienic (1 woman in kitchen cooking without gloves). Buses came in and only 2 staff on and they put the bus orders first. We were a couple people back from the front of line and ordered 2 coffees to go and the buses with about 30 people came in after us and she continued to take all the orders and our 2 coffees were pushed to the back. Waited 40 minutes and asked when we would get our coffees, she said at least half hour longer! I asked for refund. That would've been a hour and 10 mins for 2 takeaway coffees! She seemed more concerned about getting the orders in and taking the money. This is not how a business should be run. An extra person on coffee machine is needed. I had been there once before , and the same scenario, but not as bad. This is why I know this is a regular occurrence. A lovely spot with beautiful gardens and trees, but the worst run Cafe I have ever been to.

Update...in reply to your reply, yes I have to correct place. Last week we were there on Tuesday 11 April. You had a bus from rest home then not long after a big bus from a ballooning trip. These came in AFTER us and you put our takeout coffees at the end...
