Ive always pop into this cafe on my travels but I’ll never again after waiting in line to be served the barista just looking at me as you could see I was kind of in a rush for work anyway I popped back the cake where I had picked it up I had placed in front of the register and left as my job was arriving in town , next ring the barista chases me to my car with other people tapping on my bonet and was accusing me of stealing a cake . I was so offended and confused. I just looked at her and said no I placed it back on the counter and she just stared back at me with a very disgusted look. I’ll never ever come back to this cafe again . I think before chasing people out of the shop and accusing them of theft, They should check actually happened and pay attention to what they are accusing them especially in front of people. And just leaving your co worker to attended to a huge line whilst you’re just standing there doing nothing is very poor...

Hubby and I went there on Monday 20th March and tried to order from the board. We were told no, the kitchen closes at 3pm, you will need to to order something on the counter, which we did. We went to our table around the corner from the counter and our food was served to us in take away cardboard containers. My husband pointed out to me that it was actually 2.10pm, not 3 as was claimed by the waitress. We then overheard the waitresses saying that they will have to serve the bikers who were in the process of parking out front. They must have forgotten we were there. The restaurant decor is very nice, the food was fine but the staff should not be working in a service industry if they are unable to serve. I will not return, I saw a nice place in the neighbouring town that I will go to. It is preferble to feel welcome, not intrusive especially when visiting...

Wow. I just finished my meat my, I should have ordered another one. I asked what the best pie was and the lady recommended the “steak and dian”. It did not disappoint let me tell you. It was one of the best meat pies I’ve ever had. The coffee here is also good. It’s on par with the average cappuccino in a dedicated coffee shop in Sydney which is really something considering this is a bakery. Just to be clear, the cappuccino is good, I have no complaints about it. But the pie was unreal.

Next time I’m in Harden I’ll be popping in for another pie and cappuccino for sure. They were even kind enough to put a marshmallow on the lid of my coffee for free because I asked nicely 😅

It’s also a good atmosphere inside. Don’t miss it as it’s not on the main road you drive on when you pass through Harden. You won’t be...

We stopped here for a coffee and a snack during our road trip from Griffith NSW to Sydney. The friendliest person at the counter made our visit most pleasant. We were a party of three & one had a pie, one a piece of toasted banana bread & one a large cookie with our coffees. Each of us enjoyed our choices. We sat in the lovely garden/courtyard outside area and were greeted there with "Hello" from the exotic parrot housed nearby. The garden area is so lovely, with fruit trees in large pots, old wares delightfully arranged with splashes of flowering colour in terracotta pots, wrought-iron & beautiful little nooks all around. We love it here. What a special place.

Coffee is great for a country town, very limited food selection, pretty much pies etc. lovely outdoor section which seems kind of ruined by a gorgeous captive blue macaw that seems very lonely in a filthy brick outhouse. I kind of feel like if you're going to keep a beautiful bird on display make the cage a feature for the bird, not some derelict shed filled with bird poo. They have long lives and need stimulation.

Great pies and a excellent back garden with ample seating. This is a great place to relax and have a coffee and lunch and even get some work done. The atmosphere is wonderfully calm and relaxed. If you are in the area or passing through then please stop by.
