Hi, I’ve reported to TAB NSW that you continue to display a permanent TAB venue sign outside the hotel without actually providing this service to patrons. This is highly misleading for those passing through the town that simply wish to use what is a commonly available service across pubs in NSW and throughout Australia. Sadly these patrons may not have a SPORTSBET account or be actually looking to use the toilet as it seems one other reviewer was accused of. It’s great to see you judge that reviewer which exposes your lack of empathy for the real issue that was complained about. For whatever reason the TAB licence has been removed from this venue, subsequently it is reasonable that those TAB customers who choose to use the service are not inconvenienced in future or made to feel like second class citizens. (John Singleton uses the TAB by the way and is a wonderful hotelier and Aussie business success story). No one likes to enter a venue where they are not made to feel welcome, the staff are not wearing masks because there are no patrons in the hotel and a simple question is met with rudeness and unfriendly behaviour not likened to a “hospitality” venue.    Read moreThe removated Hotel accommodation was OK but the extremely rude older female staff member in the bar (so called manager) and her younger sidekick totally ruined our experience. Yes, it was a Saturday night and we expected noise/music from the bar but not music so very loud that the base was vibrating the walls in our room above the bar. We nicely asked for the music be turned down a fraction to simply cut off the heavy base sound so we could get to sleep. The music itself was ok to listen too. But we were rudely informed that the music would continue as is and not be shut off until midnight with the bar then closing at 1am. We were then told 'what did you expect this is a pub!!' and 'our paying customers have a right' Finally this 'paying customer' asked for a refund we we're laughed at and told no.    Read moreWhat a absolute disappointment for a country pub service was atrocious can’t comment on food as never got to eat it we were booked in for a large group arrived at 6 pm as pre arranged to find one girl in bar and food service later a guy arrived two ques after 45 mins in one que was advised that was bar service only had t go to woman for food service who was doing food and drinks 45 mins later in her que gave up ad wasn’t moving 45 mins after that went back no que she took m order but then took off with a waitress trying to find a number for a meal left standing there for another 5 mins to complete order she didn’t come back more than half our group gave up 3 hours and not able to order I complained to her she said we busy slack as service they knew we were coming thankfully most other country pubs we try to support are a lot more than welcoming will not be back her and will pass the word many other country...
