Redbank Cafe — Restaurant in Hillston

What a gem of a find. Had no idea this lovely cafe was even here in Hillston. Hubby needed gf as he is a Coeliac. The ladies were so friendly and helpful saying they could make a gf toastie for him for lunch, plus gf vanilla icecream! They have a huge varied menu. My chips were absolutely scrumptious, a huge serve done to my liking. Very yumm! Tea and coffee were also good. Eat in served at the table or take away. Lovely outdoor area to sit and look at the Lachlan river. We enjoyed our lunch and the views as did heaps of other travellers and locals. We will be back next year when passing through....

Very basic place but served us one of the best burgers I have ever had. 10 out of 10. We had a regular and a chicken burger and chips. Excellent! This place is now called Red Bank Cafe. The staff do a mean cup of coffee and if I'm there before midday I usually have a bacon n egg toastie with heaps of bacon.
