Excellent quality and value home style bakery products , lots of old fashioned favorites not easily available anymore. Multi award winning Cakes , biscuits, slices, pies, sausage rolls, mini pizzas, bread and much more. Birthday cakes. Saturdays we have a full range of products. We Grow our own beef for our pies ! Look forward to seeing you! Closed Sundays Sorry we do not have credit card or eftpos facilities. Discover new dishes of Australian cuisine in the comfort of Bush Bakery. Take your family with you and eat nicely cooked scallop pie, sausage rolls and sausages. This place offers good fruitcake, mille-feuille and custard tarts. A selection of delicious absinthe is provided to visitors. This spot will offer you great coffee. Bush Bakery with takeout food is suitable for those guests who like to have lunch on the go. Many reviewers have noticed that the staff is pleasant at this place. Fine service is something clients like here. Average prices are to be expected at this place. This spot is ranked 4.8 within the Google grading system. Wow! Lots to choose from here and choosing is the hardest thing to do. I bought a Pastie, wished I bought a Pie as well. Didn't buy a cake, DOH!

A worthwhile diversion on my drive from Hobart through the Huon Valley. This is a family run business located next to the owners' home - quite unique! Outdoor seating is available. Pastry was rich and crispy, and the selection of pies, cakes and other pastries was great. Prices were reasonable and while cash is preferred, there are EFT payment facilities available. I really enjoyed my curried scallop pie - prices were reasonable and not Salamanca Market prices. I also really enjoyed chatting with the owners who are very insightful and doing their best to support the community and bring our once-wonderful country back to its former glory. Thanks and all the best.

Very tasty pies. They have a reasonable selection of other bakery food too. The bakery is a small shed next to their house. The location is very scenic and a relaxing place to eat. Like one of the other reviews said, the customer service isn't world class. Not compared to some of the other food spots we visited around Hobart. They'd get 5 stars if that had been on point. Maybe hiring someone to serve might be good for business. Overall though, excellent food and worth a visit if you're nearby.

We came here after a recommendation from a friend, we got 2 scallop pies which were the best we have had here In all the years of holidaying here there was a decent amount of scallops which were really fresh tasting, my daughter got a vegetable pie which she said was really nice and then we also got some vanilla slices which was also really nice. Even turning up at 4:30pm the lovely staff was so accommodating and when we asked if they had any hot scallop pies happily offered to heat some up for us. A cute little bakery with quality food, great prices and friendly service. We will definitely return when we come back next...
