A worthwhile diversion on my drive from Hobart through the Huon Valley. This is a family run business located next to the owners' home - quite unique! Outdoor seating is available. Pastry was rich and crispy, and the selection of pies, cakes and other pastries was great. Prices were reasonable and while cash is preferred, there are EFT payment facilities available. I really enjoyed my curried scallop pie - prices were reasonable and not Salamanca Market prices. We came here after a recommendation from a friend, we got 2 scallop pies which were the best we have had here In all the years of holidaying here there was a decent amount of scallops which were really fresh tasting, my daughter got a vegetable pie which she said was really nice and then we also got some vanilla slices which was also really nice. Even turning up at 4:30pm the lovely staff was so accommodating and when we asked if they had any hot scallop pies happily offered to heat some up for us. A cute little bakery with quality food, great prices and friendly service. We will definitely return when we come back next...
