I ordered a Black Pepper Steak Sizzling Hot Plate, one Sizzling Steak Sizzling Hot, and one Large Special Fried Rice Plate online for a total of $56.67 and picked them up myself. However, when I got home and opened the boxes, I was extremely disappointed.

Both hot plates didn’t come with rice! Every other Chinese restaurant we’ve ordered Steak Sizzling Hot Plate from always includes a separate serving of rice—it’s a standard practice at every place we’ve been to. But here, they don’t provide it!But that’s not the main issue, as the menu pictures indeed didn’t show rice—I admit I didn’t check carefully. However, the portion size and food quality were simply terrible.

The plastic container only had a few onions, carrots, and a couple of corn kernels. Each portion of beef contained just four pieces—this is absolutely outrageous! I have never seen such a terrible meal before. The portion size was ridiculously small, completely insufficient, and definitely not worth the price.

As for the fried rice, it was supposed to be LARGE, but the amount in the container was so little. Both the quantity and quality were extremely poor.

This was my first time ordering from this Chinese restaurant since moving to Ipswich, and I can guarantee it will also be my last. I will never order from here again. A word of advice: don’t waste your time and money trying this place—you will be disappointed. But if you don’t believe me, go ahead and try...

For around 15 years we have nothing but good food and service....until tonight. We were celebrating a birthday which was a special event. We decided on the banquet for the 5 of us. It took 30 minutes to get our entree prior to the banquet. We then received our soup....cold! After an hour we asked the 1st waiter if he could check on our meals, nothing was done. A 2nd waitress showed and we received 3 mains and a plate of rice that wasn't even enough for 3 people. After another 15 minutes, and all of the mains were eaten, we asked about our last main that we hadn't received. It came out, no rice etc to eat with it. At least our waitress said "sorry guys" even she knew this was unacceptable time frame.. We decided that 1&3/4 hours was long enough, we weren't going to wait any longer for our ice cream and coffee. When we approached the "manager" regarding the service we were told that we should have spoken up about the service and that we were rude to even question the bill amount. He stood there with his hand on his hips and advised us that we would receive no apology, discount or an explanation. You have lost our patronage...

Food was overpriced & almost inedible. -The spring rolls were extremely dry, small & like eating the pastry with no filling. -The special fried rice was absolutely awful. It did not contain any of the vegetables you would find in a good fried rice full of flavor. What ever the cheap meat is used in the fried rice was is absolutely disgusting & overpowering. -The chicken & vegetable had absolutely no flavor. -Sweet & sour pork was difficult to chew & the pork left a lot to be desired. It did not have a nice flavor to it at all. -Honey chicken also left a lot to be desired. -Serving sizes are very small & the quality is absolutely not to standard with the attached price tags. This is only the 2nd time I had eaten from this restaurant in a number of years. I wasn’t thrilled the first time, but decided to give them another go, and will be the final time.
