Yeah man I will tell you what happened since you’re so desperate to solve the issue, you better ask the lady server who served me this evening. I wanted to try some noodles and i was starving so I thought this place looks good, so i walked in and this lady server came up to me. I told her I wanted noodles with chicken, and she's like, "Oh, I got honey chicken. That's what you want, right?" I thought she was suggesting honey chicken noodles, so I went along with it as I am fairly new to the asian noodles and cuisine. I paid for my order and she tells me to wait a few minutes while she brings it over. I find a seat and get all excited about digging into my noodles. But guess what? Within seconds, she's back with a pre-packaged container of honey chicken. She says she just made it for someone else, but since I was waiting, she gave it to me. Now, picture my face when I open the container and there are only chicken pieces staring back at me. No noodles! I figured there must've been a major language barrier going on here. I decided to give it a try anyway, and man, was I in for a disappointment. The chicken was soggy, cold, and felt like I was chewing on rubber. It was so gross that I had to chuck the whole thing right in the bin, right in front of the server. I was seriously bummed out by this whole experience. It felt like a total scam, you know? The server didn't get my order right, and the chicken they gave me was pathetic. I'm never setting foot in that...
Read moreWorst order of Chinese I have ever had, I ordered a large sweet and sour pork, and the container was half empty, same with the honey chicken. Fried rice was fairly close to full but still not what you'd expect, also ordered Hokkien noodles, but would never again as it tasted like it was way over flavoured and couldn't even eat it. Rang them and all they had to say was they shrank when they were cooked "from frozen" and that's why it looked like it was less in the bowl. I personally would never go there again, but on a good note they did say after I got a little angry, that they would offer me a discount next time, but for $40 odd dollars I wouldn't waste my time or money on the worst Chinese I have ever had. Go across the road to the other Chinese place as the lid on the containers generally pop open on there own, because they are filled to the brim and it's still now the best Chinese I've had in the ipswich area. Only put this review up as I'd hate other people to feel as ripped off as I...
Read moreHad a craving for Chinese food so decided to try this place as it is local. First appearances were good - the place was clean and the food in display cabinet looked fresh. It was a little hard to understand Mr Lin but all of the menu choices were numbered so ordering wasnt too hard. The meals were cooked fresh to order and didnt take too long. We ordered a few spring rolls for the kids which, in my opinion, were super tasty. We also had chicken fried rice and honey chicken noodles. Both meals were a great size, full of fresh veges and a decent portion of meat and they were really tasty. Maybe a little too much salt and the egg omelet in my fried rice was all one big piece but that's about all I could complain about. We were really happy with Mr Lins Noodle Bar and, as long as the quality stays the same, we...
