Ordered a 'Girls open grill', 'Chilli chicken burger' and kids chicken strips and chips. Kids meal was about on par. The open grill was, although well presented, fairly small portion size.

Then the chilli chicken burger. It was on an unusually large bun, which was both fresh and well toasted. Chicken was crispy. Bacon was well cooked and plenty thereof. Herb aoili was delicious. Chilli was hot and tasty without being extreme. The only downside was the hashbrown and sautéed onion somewhat clashed with the rest. An unusual combination that worked okay but not great.

Overall, food was quite good, service was prompt and polite and prices were on par. Family will certainly be returning to try other dishes...

We love The Girls ... perfect for weekend brunches and weekday lunches -- excellent food and coffee, friendly staff, and great service ... BUT now it has changed hands, we have been disappointed each of the 3 times we've been there because each time only part of our order has gone through to the kitchen, and my husband has finished his food, while I, after enquiring, wait for mine -- a computer glitch apparently ..... saying sorry and laughing it off is not satisfactory .... get it fixed! And there needs to be at least a grab bar in the toilet for people with disabilities -- would have thought that would be a council requirement ........

I often pop in for a coffee on the way to a job at The Boys and every time the coffee is made to perfection. The cups are just the right size, the flavour is amazing and the staff are lovely. This place is the perfect stop along the highway and would highly recommend. Plenty of great home made food and brilliant service. This place is really progressing and moving forward under new management. Hats off to the new owners for taking on the challenge, the progress has been incredible to see. My wife and i will always make this a stop. Well done Paul, Dave and Team. Big shout out to Anna who made my lovely coffee...

Sadly disappointing. Ordered 2 chicken and salad rolls and 2 lattes; almost $35. Lattes were too hot to hold, despite watching the lady use a thermometer. They were so bitter we could not drink them, just horrible. They left a powdery feel on the tongue. The salad rolls were ok. The chicken and salad were both cold, as you’d expect, but the rolls were toasted and warm which made for a strange experience. Waited almost 20 minutes for the rolls to be ready when there was only one other table there, and they were already eating. Not likely to visit here again

Absolutely the best coffee in town! The Boys Edmond Street Café is now under new management, and you can really feel the difference. I’ve been here a few times, and every visit has been fantastic. The coffee is rich and perfectly brewed, the food is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The new owners and staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Definitely my go-to spot for a great cup of coffee and a relaxing time. Highly recommend

This was a great place to stop in on the way home from Toowoomba. We had the Steak and Mustard on Turkish and the Long Brew Lasagne. Both were amazing and the chips on the side were also much better than most fish and chip shops. There is also an interesting selection of bottled things. The staff was friendly and gave me a bag for the 7 things I got in bottles.
