The baked goods were strangely orange and the pastie was not as they used to be....the filling was a gluggy tasteless mess, the ingredients indiscernible. They used to be flaky, golden with recognisable vegies spilling out and had a gorgeous peppery flavour. We came in to the bakery an hour before close time and the gentleman that served us was hospitable and welcoming. The lady was somewhat hostile to him, saying there's no bread, there's no bread. Wait staff delightful, cleanliness faultless. Glad there's eftpos now, just lacks atmosphere.....huge space, no background music etc.....not bad, just not country...

My experience was not what I expected. I expected to have been given a service. Instead while trying to enjoy my coffee and taking time to text my daughter i was asked why i am taking photos? I was stunned by this. Why anyone even ask this, let alone assuming that i did? Needless to say, i assured them that no photos had been snapped of their Bread Rolls. Be careful with your mobile phone. These people are paranoid. Rather sad. But i left feeling offended just the same. I like to be looked upon as a potential customer and not treated...
