If there is another Take Away in town... go find it! Worst fish and chips ever. Frozen, preformed 'Flake' in batter was slow cooked in less than ideal oil temperature, which made it soggy. It also seeemed to taste like the freezer. It probably didn't help that he microwaved everything to partially thaw it out prior to deep frying. Chips were coooked similarly and were tasteless and oil-laden. Youngest child even rejected the chicken tenders. Watch out for sauce charges... ordered and paid for 6 x sauce satchet squeezies and was told that the three given was six serves??? Burger was terrible @ $8. Patty was supposedly beef and about half the size of the dry, stale bun - one of those preformed ones you can buy in packets at the IGA next door. Potato Scallops (Poatato Cakes) were under done, still partially raw and definite taste of freezer, which was not appetising at all. I thought the 2 x cans of Coke would save the day, but alas! The guy only switched on the drinks fridge 5 minutes AFTER I ordered. Hygiene standards are questionable...a mixture of kitchen tongs and fingers on cooked food is not ideal. Plenty of cross-contamination as well. No latex gloves... nothing. At least I know is any of us are ill tonight, we know where to trace it back to. VERY POOR and not even worthy of the 1 x star!
