Cute and cosy place! Unfortunately terrible service and lengthy waits. Stopped here for a chicken sandwich and a Focaccia (no drinks). Waited over 45 minutes to receive the wrong order. I checked in with staff on the progress of the order after the first 20 minutes and I was told repeatedly that the meals were only going to be 5 more minutes. Staff were apologetic saying that they were busy. There was a table of 10 older ladies and men who ordered after me who all had their drinks and food, including their coffees. I explained that it was confusing and I had ordered before that table that had their meals. Finally my food arrived. My partner ordered the focaccia and said that it tasted good. Unfortunately for me my chicken sandwich was an egg and lettuce sandwich. Staff offered to make the sandwich I preferred but I couldn’t wait especially given the fact that it took 45 minutes in the first instance. Staff were able to refund me and I left hungry and...

Unfortunately I will not be returning to The Fox and Brew. Whilst the service and the coffee was reasonable our meals were not. Probably got off to a bad start when we tried to order the red lentil curry, only to find it has not been available for the past few months....time to change the menu? Ordered the Pumpkin and Sweet Potato soup and the Roast Vegetable Salad. Both were small servings. The soup was not good...it was like eating thick pureed pumpkin more suitable for a young child. It was not pleasant. Whilst I have been a few times to the cafe, and I felt they got off to a good start, after this experience I won't...

We up from Melbourne, visiting friends and they had recommended having brekky here. It was not what I was expecting at all driving into the small town. Felt just like a cafe in Melbourne. There was quality food and coffee. I can understand them not having table service yet as I'm sure it'd be hard to find the staff out there. When we visited they were down a member but still managed to provide adequate service although they had a bit of a line up at the counter, it didn't seem to phase them. Prices were also really...

Really unique feel to this small town coffee shop. Have only had coffee and cake and the hot chocolate was awesome. A great spot to stop and have a coffee and chat with lots of things to look at in the shop. Service is excellent. They have renovated the shop and it looks fabulous. Carrot cake was sensational and hit chocolate delightful. They have gifts for sale as well. Ambience is lovely. Was a glorious day so we sat outside on the high tables.
