What a great, relaxed, country vibe. Great mementos on display reminding us of the better times that have been and gone. Tap selection is excellent, very surprised and absolutely stoked to see Cooper XPA included. Meals were top notch, awesome value for money and extremely delicious. Pork Belly and Chicken Schnitzel were both winners.

Decent honest pub food. The seafood basket had a fair amount in it and was well prepared, the steak was quite big and tasted good. Salad bar had a fair variety of salads and vegetables. The pub is an old one but I liked the ambience and the view out the windows is of the park across the road, so not unpleasant.

We’ve stayed in the rooms upstairs here for many years while working on construction in the region. Always been looked after by all the brilliant friendly staff, beers are cold and the food is spot on and they regularly change up the menu.

Stopped at this pub for lunch on our holiday travelling through because the reviews and photos of the food looked amazing. We entered the pub at the same time as two other fellas. The place was open but deserted, not a soul. The other two fellas left immediately. I wish we had as well. After singing out for someone, we were served by the most unenthusiastic, sour bar attendee I have come across in a long time. We orded the same meal that I'd seen in the google reveiws and two beers. Our beer was fine, but as the first and only patrons there for lunch, our meal took forever to come and despite an apology for the delay, our meal arrived and I was instantly disappointed. The linguini pasta was way overcooked and cut into tiny pieces, there was far too much sauce, there was a mountain of super fine grated Parmaesan cheese on top which instantly melted and made the entire meal a gluey gluggy mess. It was horrible and cost $62. Not happy Jan. Never returning. I'm still burping from the gastronomic...

Had dinner here with three other family members. Booked for 6.30. Ordered around 15 minutes after sitting down. Service was nice and friendly. Ordered 1 dozen oysters from the specials. Coffin Bay. Beautiful and fresh. Best oysters I have had fir a whole. I don't usually order them lately due to too many disappointments. Wow. Nice and clean. Garlic bread good. Prawn and chicken wonton, nice. My family had the rigatoni with mushrooms , linguine marinara, garlic prawns and lamb cutlets from the specials. Pastas were good to ok. Rhe rigatoni should have had fresher mushrooms, I could taste the age. Remember I'm fussy. Garlic prawns nice and the cutlets nice although there was a little too much fat in them. Not trimmed properly. In the end a satisfied group of people who will be back. The other negative was the wait in the food. Not a busy dining room unless they do alot of take away that we did not see or are a little...

We immediately felt uncomfortable at this pub, while there was some beauty to be found in the vintage decor that's where it ends. Nobody was around for service 30 minutes prior to our lunch booking despite being open so we left to return at lunch. Unfriendly and apathetic staff service, observed them leaving patrons waiting long periods to order despite not being busy. Our order with simple requests completely ignored, I wanted to omit salad for the roast vegetables, was charged extra which is fine but received them with my entree. My partner also requested no salad with extra chips instead, also ignored. Clearly poor communication with the kitchen. Gravy was lumpy with an odd taste, even our lemon lime and bitters was sad, just don't...
