Shop is grubby and dirty (2 Star)

Owner thinks she is the mask police and is very invasive about masks and about checking vaccine certificates and the authenticity of the certificates - rude and discriminatory actually especially for my friends granny who has medical exemption due to a mental health condition.

If the owner insists on being confrontational about masks, then she would be well advised to put a few big signs up explaining the reasons for the mask Gestapo approach to customers.

If one of her team has a lowered immune system or if she is scared of being closed down, then she should put up signs to justify her paranoia and crazy behaviour. It would also be logical if she instead installed dividers at the service and checkout counter instead of viciously harrassing her patrons about masks. (-1 Star)

Tables were sticky from old meals and not being deep cleaned regularly (2 Stars)

The hot food glass display cabinet where the pies and chicken are sitting has no rear doors and we watched a gigantic fly crawl into the chicken wing and lay an egg (-5 Stars)

The quality of the front signage says a lot about the establishments approach to quality. Not that signage has ever turned me away from a good meal, however overall the shop feels cluttered, dusty and sticky. If you're expecting 5 star establishment this isn't it. 2 or 3 star joint? Yes. Value for money? No. (2 Stars)

Stopped in on our way through the little town for some lunch. If you are not starving and desperate for food, keep driving and wait till you can spend your money on food worth it. $24 for two pies and a 600ml drink. Prices are not advertised on hot displayed foods or sweets. I was taken aback by the price and even asked her how much the pies were. Thought to myself ‘well these better be good pies’ but they were far from good pies. We ordered the Bacon, Cheese & Beef Pies- the cheese was non existent other than the 3 pieces on top. The bacon was completely non existent and it tasted like a supermarket frozen Mrs Macs Pie but with the price tag of $9.00 each. Compared to the pies we have else where on this trip that were made in store fresh that day and only cost us $6.50 each. The sweets looked lovely but were obviously brought in from a supplier. Don’t advertise as a bakery if you don’t even make your food in store. Would not have stopped if it wasn’t for that sign. Save your cash and enjoy much better food that this region...

High charge/fee! I bought a snack instead of a meal as their table area was closed to find their EFT fee charge was 8.4%. That is exorbitant! Based on my experience their merchant service fee charged by the bank is not that high! While I asked the lovely lady at the counter whether this fee was for just using credit cards or for savings the lady mopping the table area floor arrogantly commented it was a fee for all cards implemented by the owner. I asked her to offer the owner feedback about how this fee was very high. Now knowing how high this fee is next time I will choose another cafe. There are plenty around on the highway. I rated 2 stars instead of 1 as the lady that served me appeared somewhat nice. The cafe had 1 hour till their advertised closing time, the tabled area was closed off, chairs up on the tables, floor...
