We stayed in the motel part for one night. I had called ahead because we were arriving quite late and my details were taken - our late arrival (between 9.30-10pm) caused no concern.||||On arrival, I was warmly greeted by the lady behind the bar, provided with the key and pointed in the direction of the motel section - enter off the street running parallel behind Tower St. You can't get there directly off Tower St.||||The motel section is a series of "donga" type accommodation - that used widely in the mining industry. Very clean and simple. Microwave and bar fridge in the room. Air con works well too. Chairs and tables out the front to enjoy a quiet drink as well. I ordered dinner at the pub to takeaway back to my room. Pretty amazing chicken parmy to be honest. It was a very busy Thursday night as well although the food came out quickly. The best thing? The absolute friendliness of the staff that we just don't get in the...
