Visited on Friday 19th May. The service from the older lady short and on the chunky side, was so rude. Sighed and rolled her eyes at me because I was looking through everything they had in the slices and cakes cabinet. When she served me grunted at me, I apologised for taking my time and she grunted at me again, shoved my food at me. I said have a lovely afternoon got ignored. I have lived in the area for some years now and can't help but feel this bakery has declined in quality. I bought some cream buns recently and they were very stale, the bread was hard and obviously old, not long ago I bought a sponge cake which was so dry and stale no one wanted to eat it, wasted my money basically. Why sell stale food? wouldn't you want customers to come back? you must know some of the cakes and buns you sell are old? none of it is dated so we have no idea how old it is until we get it home. Great country bakery with a big selection of the all time favourites breads, pastries and cookies. They also have a fresh section for sandwiches and make them to your wishes. Coffee is of varying quality. They have outdoor seating available so you can have a lunch break here or some morning tea. Parking is plenty as its next to the large carpark.
