Steam Dock Eatery — Restaurant in Mannum

First time ordering since new management. lovely man served us but that's where it stops. I know times have been hard for businesses lately and hate doing bad reviews but hopefully it may help them improve.. potato fritter wafer thin and tiny, pineapple fritter tiny, overcooked and very dry, my yiros meat was chewy and threw half of it away. Couldn't even eat our chips and they were overcooked but soggy...Husband said his hamburger was average..hopefully they can sort things out as this shop has changed hands so many times....also just a word of advise..when you answer your phone it would be nice if you actually answered it with the business name and not just " HELLO" which is what I got...we regularly stay in Mannum and this was our go to take away...sadly we won't be back until the food improves..sorry for the bad feedback I don't normally like doing it, but our food was not a...

Whitenesses the owner lie about how long one persons food was in the warmer for before speaking rudely to him when he asked why his order took an hour. My order also took over an hour. I watched all the food be made and touched with no gloves, no one went to wash their hands once, after touching raw sea food and the cooked foods. I’m disgusted, couldn’t even eat my food after watching it be made and will not be back again. Such a shame how low this takeaway has dropped considering how yummy and well managed it was before the new owners took over. Sincerely some locals who will not recommend steam dock...

This place used to be so good! What happened? Got a very simple order of small chips and 4 potato cakes. Everything was burned and this is not the first time recently. The chips were dry and hollow, and everything tasted like it had been cooked in very old oil. Batter on the potato cakes also had a strange flavour and I suppose that was aged as well.
