Maryborough Golf Club — Restaurant in Maryborough

We had a delicious lunch in the dining room which has been upgraded since our last visit. It offers a clear view over the course through floor to celing windows. The staff that served us were all welcoming and provided prompt service. The meals are, reasonably priced, quite large and its obvious the ingredients are very fresh. Meals are well presented on the plate. There is also a tea & coffee station where you can make yourself a cuppa. There is plenty of free parking right outside the venue. I would just advise when the sun comes streaming in through the large glass windows it can get quite warm, so when you make a booking or just drop in you might like to request a table away from the windows, particularly during warmer weather. Maryborough is less than an hour's drive from Ballarat. I always visit Hartwell Shoes in the main street whenever I visit. They have a wide range of beautiful shoes for women and men. Wow, we Recently Played a five day tournament here at the Maryborough golf club from the early dealings six months ago with the manager, Kelly and club captain David . Our experience was second to none the hospitality shown, not only by Kelly leading the way, but all her staff (Except for one, Which she may have possibly been having a bad week.) The way that the team Looked after us from the minute, we got there to the minute we left was absolutely amazing. The golf course itself we could not we tip our lids to the ground stuff what an incredible job you guys are doing. We can’t forget the kitchen stuff that were amazing coming from a chef. I left the below review 11 months ago when we first moved to Maryborough, food was great, menu was great, since then management & kitchen staff (including chef) have all changed, menu changed, not as extensive or good. Just another pub menu. Shame they don’t have any competition. Only eat her now when desperate for a night out.

Just moved to Maryborough and thought we would try the Maryborough Golf Club for tea on Sunday night. And both my husband & I were most impressed, Staff were most helpful & Polite and the food was excellent. Nice extensive menu so you would be impossible to pleased if you didn’t find something you like. Went back the next day and joined as a social member and the office staff were just as helpful and polite. 5 star plus. Will enjoy being a member...
