We found out about this local watering hole via another business in town. They said the food was good so off we went. I was pretty sceptical sitting in the car out side but we went in, and it was terrific :) It was Wednesday night, bingo night, the place was alive with locals and a few tourists:) The girl at the door was very friendly. She told us about a special technique called "hot rocks" The menue had so many choices, we ended up with fettuccini as we are huge pasta fans. Good place to play Bingo and have a reasonably cheap meal. The chef definitely knows how to cook.
The only negative was that I noticed a micro aggression from an old white fellow towards a group of indigenous people there, who hadn't done anything wrong. He flicked some paper in their direction. They didn't make an issue of it but I noticed and thought it was uncalled for and disappointing to see. Hopefully was just a once-off thing and not a reflection on racism in the area. I can't blame the venue for that guys behaviour.

Half an hour for fish and chips and I.was the only one in the club with a table number. Had eyes rolled at me when I asked make bartender how much the iced coffee I ordered was, and asked "ugh can't you look up at a sign or something", which physically no because my spine would snap lol. After 20 minutes of no food and kitchen packing down I went to the counter to enquire about my one meal. She says "they are probably still cooking it, I dunno."
