3941 Takeaway — Restaurant in Melbourne

I gave 1 star cos I couldn't give zero , sorry I don't mean to be harsh but the battered fish was so oily it was very hard to stomach, the grilled flake was without a exaggeration 2mm thick by about 15cm long and at $9 I feel a bit ripped not to mention it was tuff and dry , the chips well I thought I was buying a box that was displayed on the counter, sml,med lrg, I got the sml as it was just the 2 of us unbeknown that the bulk of the box had our fish in it then topped up with chips , so disappointing as we really need a good fish and chip shop down here, I don't get it that for such a easy and cheap meal to make that so many fish and chip shops get it so wrong and inflation the price , sorry guys but go back to your old jobs and leave this tucker...

From my initial phone enquiry about oil used to the over the counter service, Tiahn was professional and helpful with meal selection. More like front of house at a friendly hotel than a takeaway shop.

Ended up getting the grilled Barramundi with chips. Barramundi was fresh, grilled perfectly and chips were crispy. Overall lovely simple meal and reasonably priced for the area. Cosy table inside and a table outside for dining. I chose to eat at Rye back beach just around the corner. Highly recommend

Had a Mexican and Garlic pizza. The pizzas may be on the upper end of the price spectrum, but the quality of ingredients and taste is second to none, especially for the size. Lots of flavour, properly cooked and seasoned, heaps of attention to detail when making the pizza as the toppings are properly dispersed. The dough is nice and thin but still has great texture and isn't dry or crunchy. Thanks for a wonderful meal, can't wait to try the other pizzas...
