501 Booster Cafe & Bistro — Restaurant in Melbourne

This place has such an amazing variety of food and its delicious. The banana bread is thick home baked fresh and the best I have ever had, the iced drinks were delicious and the fresh egg sandwich & slices were all amazing. My mum frequents more often and says their pies and hot coffee are amazing too. The staff were super friendly and lovely to our dog, they keep a dog water bowl out etc. The only downside is that the lady serving us as sweet as she was was really not concentrating and didnt take down details, we kept repeating and trying to check the iced drinks order as we felt she hadn't got it and then the owner who seemed a bit frustrated with that staff member rechecked some details but somehow the coffees were all still incorrect- one was meant to be half strength & wasnt, one we asked for no ice cream or cream as it was soy milk but it came with ice cream then my 8 yo daughter was served a coffee frappe 😂 apparently meant for another table. We didnt mind too much because the staff were so friendly to us and we werent in a big rush but if I was in a rush to pick up a morning coffee for work that would be frustrating & my mum said it's happened another time she came. Prices also are a bit $$ but that's cafes. Overall it's still a great local cafe with amazing food and will not stop me returning. Wish it were open a little later so I could make it on afternoons too.

Good food , great coffee , fantastic people . Big shout out to the awesome people down at 501 booster cafe they always deliver A1 service with friendly and great customer service . Having worked the hospitality sector for over 20 years , I don’t put up reviews unless they are top of the line establishments . So if your in the area come down and have yourself some of the best coffee in the area . I have to add the food is great for any one looking for something quick and easy . if it’s something healthy your after the range of yogurts ,wraps, and rolls and sandwiches are definitely not only well priced but delicious and will have you coming...

Absolutely loved my visit to Booster Café!

It’s a family-run place with a welcoming vibe and a decent seating space to relax and enjoy your time. What stood out the most was the young girl running the café — she’s clearly very passionate about what she does, and it shows in the quality of everything served.

I tried the banana bread, which was homemade and absolutely delicious — soft, fresh, and full of flavor. The coffee was lovely too — rich and comforting, just the way I like it.

Great spot for a peaceful break. Will definitely be back and highly recommend supporting...
