Arundel Farm Estate — Restaurant in Melbourne

My husband, kids and I had a lovely lunch here celebrating a family members birthday on the weekend (Sunday 23rd March) This is a beautiful venue with lovely views of rolling hills, animals and gorgeous property. We'd like to thank one of our lovely waitresses who's name we did not catch - I can only describe her as dark skinned (and i mean that respectfully) she was absolutely lovely, friendly and very attentive. One of my brothers drinks which was ordered but forgotten about and was very quickly brought out as soon as we brought it to her attention that it appeared to have been forgotten. Our meals were all lovely, kids pizzas were about the same sized serving as the adults' which were very generous, and mixed drinks were made perfectly! We hope to see the same waitress again in the future because her service topped our day! We had the same friendly waitress come and ask us to ensure our children were being supervised properly (which they were - however she was asked to remind everyone) and not going into the private property that surrounded the venue however it seems that some people from one of the larger function areas missed or IGNORED that memo because we were disappointed to see that children from one of the function areas in the venue were climbing all over fences outside unsupervised, with a complete lack of respect for the venue and then one young boy who looked no older than 10 years old stuck his middle finger up at my daughter for absolutely no reason as we were walking past leaving which put a dampener on our otherwise beautiful afternoon. I hope that staff spoke to the parents of these children and reminded them to respect the grounds and people on it. We had the best experience here! The staff were fantastic, right into everything and very patient. We had a large group booking and when we arrived the table was already set up beautifully. There were printed menus, water, wine, bread and oil. The entrees started to come out, and throughout the afternoon the food continued to come out at just the right times! There was time for everyone to chat and mingle in between eating and we were being checked up in by the staff to see if there was anything we needed all throughout the day. The toilets were even clean the whole time dispute the restaurant was packed and there were baby change facilities that were also very clean. The price per person got the large group booking was amazing considering the amount of food! Everyone was satisfied and very full. And it all tasted sensational! Especially the lamb! Arundel Farm Estate is a rustic, family-owned and run Italian restaurant and winery located in Keilor. It spans 300+ acres and is surrounded by century-old trees, private vineyards and even horses! 🌳

The menu is a balance of contemporary and traditional, everything feels homely. Their team of talented chefs have trained in Australia, Italy and London. Everything is prepared and made on site, from fresh, seasonal ingredients.

The standout for us was their Woodfired Pizza, absolutely faultless. The Porchetta was moist with a super crispy crackling and packed with flavour. The WA Octopus was beautiful and notably a very generous serving. 🍕

The other dishes were definitely enjoyable but if I were to return I would probably pick something else in their place.

A great spot to come with large groups and families as they have something to cater to everyone. The staff were super friendly and accomodating to every single person who walked through their doors.
