This place was excellent and difficult to fault: the food was fantastic and so tasty, the team are great and welcoming, the venue is spotless and clean from head to toe, I could not fault this place at all. If I had to be pedantic the only thing I could comment on was the door handle to the children's play area was too low so my two year old could easily run in and out between the restaurant and secure play area...but the owners didn't design the door so not their fault. The chairs....the back of my belt kept getting stuck when I sat back and tried to lean forward but then again the owners didn't design the chairs so not their fault. But the food....was brilliant even the simple pizzas had so much flavour! I had to order the rocket salad twice because it was so tasty...and simple things like the chips were perfect! The spinach and ricotta ravioli was the most gratifying dish I have had in such a long time (three years of I were to be exact!) This place is great for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters and the range of mocktails available are just right! I don't eat meat or drink alcohol on certain days but will definitely make the effort for the meat dishes and alcoholic beverages when I get the chance! Please remember this place is part of the Victorian 25% dining out scheme Monday to Thursday. I strongly encourage people to pay this place a visit.

Came for Mother’s Day. Was a surprise by hubby. Place quite unsuspecting and in an unusual spot. However when you enter it’s lovely inside and warm and inviting. The staff are nice and helpful. The menu could have been better for Mother’s Day. Seemed to be a shortened version. Need kids bacon and eggs on the kids menu. Asked for chilli fried eggs to not have cherry tomatoes, was told it was already pre done, however they were just placed on top so I am not sure what that was about. The fritter with salmon was nice. Need to have an option to add hollandaise sauce on side. Was up there price wise. Presentation of all dishes was great. Lovely fresh ingredients used. Maybe normal menu days are better. However would have thought that Mother’s Day would be a bit more special. Would love to try lunch or dinner however still enjoyed our time.

A cosy italian treasure in ole' Emerald.. Location: Few mins from the township center of Emerald, and easy to locate. Parking: Plenty of Parking is available at the rear of the restaurant; do note that even that can get full towards the peak hours especially dinner. Ambience: Cosy, with good mix of tables to suit small family groups to bigger group sizes for parties and the likes. Food: Only had the pizzas and the calamari and all were great, decently priced too! $$- $$$ Family-friendly: There is a covered 'indoor' play area for quite a number of kids to enjoy themselves whilst waiting for meals to be served, perfect entertainment for them. Service: Service was immpeccable by all staff that came around to serve, take our orders or check-in on our table.

We have been long-term customers for years but unfortunately, there has been a rapid decline in the quality of the food over the last twelve months, so much so that I feel the need to write an honest review.

Firstly, portion sizes have become smaller, but prices have gone up. A lot. We ordered takeaway recently, two pasta dishes and one pizza, $93 in total. No drinks, sides or desserts, just three mains. This is an absurd cost for take-away food that isn't excellent.

Both pastas were overly salty and oily, the penne itself was rubbery, gluggy and stuck together and both dishes tasted the furthest thing from fresh. No more generously thick, chargrilled vegetables in the sauces, instead they've now substituted these for extra peas (yep!).

We requested artichoke on our pizza (which we paid extra for) and were given no more than 3 tiny leaves of artichoke on the entire pizza, not even one proper piece of artichoke per slice.

A few weeks ago we ordered a takeaway pizza and when we got home we were disappointed to discover it was overly burnt and therefore tasted horrible. It's just not acceptable when they're charging $30 for pizzas.

The food used to be consistent and delicious, but sadly something has changed, whether it be the chefs or management cutting costs, and I just can't justify spending so much money on disappointing food. Not in this economy. Sadly, they have...

Amazing.. we love the place but the stand out visit was last year after lock down. Everyone everywhere was struggling with staff, supply, general happiness but these absolute angels nurtured me that day. Buzzed them at 7:30 after a disaster day for both of us at work, kids hadn’t had dinner, said if we make it by 8 can we still grab a seat “absolutely we’re open late!” She said.. got there and my fried brain realised I’d just taken 2 geed up kids to a restaurant with a playground that closes at night so as not to tick off the neighbours.. 🤦🏼‍♀️ “Can you promise to be quiet if I let you in? If you can’t I’ll have to kick you out of my restaurant” angel #2 said to the kids reading my face of doom as I remembered.. “yes” they whispered and order was restored.. my partner and I got to sit side by side, reconnect, have a wine enjoy the insane food.. some colour ins helped the boys get through their monster serves of pizza and pasta and the place is so full of magic even though they were “full” they some how had space for gelato desserts.. the angels uncanny abilities to know exactly what we needed exactly when we needed it during a dark time I will forever treasure.....
