Cafe Coffea — Restaurant in Melbourne

This Cafe has a beautiful exterior atmosphere. The disappointed experience we have however is the price of the menue for such small portions. We paid $15 for one small child pancake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that came out to our table after we had finished eating mains. (Was our child's main) That is a rip off. Pub meals are around $12 for almost five times the amount of food for kids. We also saw an really nice baked cheese on display and requested some to take home. We were charged $12 for one slice but we justified it as the cake in the display case was huge. Once we collected the cake, the cake cut was three table spoons worth and looked nothing like the cake on display.

Way way wayyyyyy too expensive. Everything is like $5 more than it should be as well as small portions. Very boring menu and not flexible for changes. It attracts a very smooth fm 91.5 Caucasian crowd who have too much money.

Came in greeted by the young girl by the register asked for coffee and what dose she recommends to eat ,told me Chicken schnitzel in focaccia wrap, and I asked her specifically if the chicken cooked earlier or fresh , she told me fresh any way after 15 min coffee came which was average and the schnitzel itself was bad when I explained to the chef that the schnitzel is very stretch and hard to digest, he gave me some bullshit reason butttt he made me another sandwich , sandwich came same as the first one ,had bite from it and I left he asked me if it was good I said to him no same issue and Ur chicken if frozen and U just reheated up ,he laughed and didn't care...
