Visited this Sri Lankan restaurant on a weekday, which is worth noting since the buffet pricing was around $19.80 on weekdays. The buffet spread was good, featuring egg rice, chicken fried rice, string kottu, chicken and pork prepared in two styles (honey glazed and black pork curry), along with bread and a few other sides.

Food-wise, everything was quite tasty and enjoyable. The only downside was feeling a bit thirsty for a couple of hours afterward, possibly due to the seasoning.

The lady who served us was very accommodating. They also had a selection of Sri Lankan sweets like kavili—kawum, kokis, and more (though I didn’t try them).

Amazing Experience with Ceylonese by South Ceylon

I recently visited Ceylonese by South Ceylone for dinner, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. We opted for the Hoppers deal, which came with delicious pork curry and butter chicken curry. Every bite was bursting with authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and incredibly satisfying.

But the true highlight of the evening was the Sri Lankan milk tea, prepared by Nipuni. It was hands down the best milk tea I’ve ever had – rich, aromatic, and with just the right balance of sweetness. Nipuni’s attention to detail in crafting this tea was truly remarkable, making it the perfect way to end our meal.

We went here last night for the buffet. The food was amazing and the 2 front of house girls were lovely and helpful.

Dinner came to $111.80 for four people, but it should have been $106.21 with the 5% cash discount. We paid $112 and forgot to ask for change. We realised that we were incorrectly charged when we were at the carpark and immediately went back in. The staff said there was nothing they could do as the transaction has been process and the cash cannt be refunded. On top of that, they blamed the girl who did our transaction, saying that she was inexperienced and not trained properly.
