So infuriated with this store, in particular a worker named AJ. Paid extra for priority delivery for my kids weekly treat which i never mind. We love dominos and my kids love their dominos and would never go anywhere else but after tonight im absolutely fuming. Paid for a 3xpizza n 3x sides (garlic bread n 2x drinks) meal with garlic chicken wings 10pce and chips for my young son who doesnt eat the pizza. Order arrived to my husband while i was on the way home, arrived home 10mins later and checked it was missing the 10pcs chicken and garlic bread. I called the store and the lovely girl apologised n called the driver then told me they would send it out. I also sent the girl a pic because one of the pics didnt look like the pizza i ordered but she said it was correct. My kids patiently waited over an hour & nothing came so i called the girl who advised she had finished her shift. I called the store 4 times only to be hung up on each time so i blocked my caller id and this aJ finally answered, only to be told too bad, they sent the order already and if i want free food i had to pickup, omg i was so angry. His attitude was not only appalling and ignorant he hung up on me and made me feel like i was a joke and that im a liar and told me to call back the next day. I am so disappointed and infuriated its not fair. You have a duty of care to your customers and promise a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I am a paying customer your food is not free. I want my refund if you cant deliver my food. My kids left disappointed and im so angry.. Im a loyal dominos cust and may only be 1 but im still a paying customer and have never complained before. I will definitely not be using the Sydenham store EVER. Worst...
Read moreBe weary of ordering from dominos in Sydenham. Last night I was made to feel unsafe in my own home. All because I made a complaint about missing items from my order and them adding ingredients I specifically asked for them not to.
Will never order from then again! Explicitly wrote to not include capsicum for the pizza to come covered in it. Had elements of the order missing to be told by the driver I have a credit at the store but no proof of that was given. When I rang the store to complain and ask for a refund they argued with me saying I didn’t specify no capsicum when it was clearly written on my order docket/receipt. When I asked for the refund of the missing item he said he was going to send the poor delivery driver back with a cash refund….customers should not have to chase up on such things. If you put an order in and specify to not include certain ingredients customers should not be forced to eat what they have not asked for. If items are missing from the order they should be refunded. Will never order from them again and I’ll be putting in an official complaint to the head office. Close to 1am in the morning the delivery driver come to return the money to try and convince me again how it’s not their problem my order wasn’t fulfilled and threaten me by speaking to me in such a way to try a degrade me. Repeatedly telling me it’s not their problem….and to top it off I was offering him to keep the money. When I showed him the receipt he kept saying it’s not their problem…I had to ask him repeatedly to leave my property which he didn’t … my husband had to come down stairs to get him to leave …. All on cc camera ….disgusting service will never order from...
Read morePizza was good, but the customer service is by far the worst.
I placed an order via the dominos app on 16th August 2025 for a Spicy Peppy Paneer L Thin & Crispy pizza with a 1.25L Pepsi Max included. I went to pick it up between 8:50–9:00 pm, and what could have been a straightforward experience turned into one of the worst I’ve had at this store. After giving my details, I collected my order and was told to grab the 1.25L Pepsi Max from the fridge, but as usual, there were none available (this happens almost every time I order here). The staff member went inside and brought one out, which I initially thought was good service, but the bottle wasn’t cold. When I asked, he admitted it wasn’t from the fridge. I said no problem, I’ll just take a 600ml Pepsi Max instead and forget about the 1.25L. That’s when the experience turned ugly. I was asked, “Aren’t you picking up a DoorDash order?” I was absolutely shocked. That kind of question was insulting, stereotyping, and completely unprofessional. As a paying customer, being spoken to like that is disgraceful and left me feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. It’s even more disappointing because this came from someone of the same community as me the kind of stereotyping I never expected to face here. Instead of walking out satisfied with my pizza, I walked away upset. Management needs to take this seriously, because no customer should have to deal with this kind of behaviour. PS: This also means they treat DoorDash customers like shit and it doesn’t matter if they get a cold...
