Took a chance of trying something off the beaten path in regards to being in the back streets of Rosanna and not part of the main shopping area. It was well worth it. I had the Crowne Madame, my daughter had the pancakes and my other daughter had the corn fritters. The croque was delicious. Imagine a ham toasted sandwich with cheese melted over the top of the whole thing, plus a fried egg topping it off like a crown. Even the salad with it was nice and fresh. The banana smoothie was tasty and the fresh juices are in fact bottled by the brand Emma & Tom’s. The service was good, staff friendly. Never forego the chance to try something new. You just don’t know what little gems are out there. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. High chairs available. Dietaries catered for. Good car parking out the front.

The cafe is very much a delicatessen; there is a lot of passion for fresh produce, and many people come in and out to buy and take away. This is a big selling point. The ambience of the space is very fresh and welcoming. Sometimes, I felt a little too warm, so the Air con wasn't set correctly. The food was okay, too good. The omelette was a little dry and the chef mixed the bacon and salmon? The coffee was okay. Cons - No table service - QR code menus (70% of the customers were in the older bracket; they don't want to read menus on devices) Overall, I would return; I liked the ambience of the place Thank you

We’ve been to quite a few cafe’s in the area. Unfortunately, this one didn’t cut the mustard. By far the most expensive cafe in the area considering the is no table service (besides the order coming from the kitchen). You have to get your own water which is fine but we just didn’t understand the weekend surcharge. It would have been okay if we had the full table service. After a short wait, our order was brought out. My meal was average and the wife unfortunately did not enjoy her meal. I don’t think it was worth the $$$.

I was looking for an easy dinner the night before my birthday on 10 December and checked the opening hours of this cafe/restaurant on their website. It said their opening hours for Saturday are "Sa 8a–late". Since this cafe is mostly a pizza restaurant, and most pizza shops are open until atleast 10.30pm on a Saturday, I arrived at 10.05pm fully expecting them to be open based on the hours posted on their website. But I was greeted with a closed roller door. I then spent the next hour and a half looking for a reasonably priced place to eat dinner. There were plenty of places open, but none I could afford on my limited budget, so I ended up having to prepare a meal at home and sat down to eat after midnight. Given the following day was my birthday, I was pretty annoyed. Moreover, the last two pizza's I ordered there were overcooked, including the last one which tasted a bit burnt like the one before. Stupidly I decided to eat it and not make a fuss. But I let the owner know it was overcooked. He didn't seem to care and didn't offer to remake it. So after this experience, I contacted the owner to provide feedback and suggested it would be a nice gesture if he would offer to replace (one) of those two over-cooked pizza's on them. No such offer was made. Instead, the owner became intimidating and threatening toward me, implicitly threatening to post screen shots of my emailed complaint to him online in an apparent attempt to embarrass me and discredit my review of his business. But the threats and intimidation didn't stop there. In an email dated 13 December the owner said "I am going to report you to the police for threatening behaviour and harassment" and accused me of "demanding" a free pizza and behaving "like a child". Then 15 minutes later he emailed me, warning me he had a "friend who works at Heidelberg police" and that he was going to forward my emails to the Banyule Health Department in an apparent attempt to discredit me and ward off any complaint to that Department. Then he goes on to tell me "You can't hide behind the privacy act when you make threats". I thought how ironic!! The fact is, I haven't heard a single word from his mate at Heidelberg Police or the Health Department. But I filed a complaint with Prahran police against the owner for threats and intimidation. The Senior Constable read the entire email string between myself and the owner of this business and told me there was no issue with anything I said in my emails, but that his assessment was that the emails from the owner to me were threatening in nature, and that further enquiries would be made into the matter. I have never come across such a nasty piece of work as the owner of this business! The extent of this guy's threats and intimidation is breathtaking. Obviously I will never be coming back. My advice? Avoid this place...

I've been coming to 4 Leaves café for a few years now. They're a great little place off the beaten track with a wide variety of food options and usually good service. Today however, I have been compelled to write a review as service was unusually terrible. I ordered my usual almond-milk mocha and my brunch companion ordered a soy latte. When the coffees were brought to us the waitresses announced that there was a soy cappuccino... (Which neither of us had ordered) and a soy latte. My friend accepted her coffee. Then the waitress put down the soy cappuccino in front of me and asked, "What did you order again?", "An Almond-milk mocha is what I ordered" to which she then replied, "Ok then, this is what this one is" she said plonking what was previously the soy cappuccino in front of me and rushed away from our table. Unsure, I sipped the drink and discovered that is was in fact a soy cappuccino, which was not the drink that I had ordered. I returned my drink and told them that would like the drink that I had actually ordered. The young girl making the coffees was very apologetic, but from then on the behaviour of waitresses who served the coffee became more and more rude towards us to the point where, when I got up to pay and my paywave didn't work (which occasionally happens with my card), she angrily told me that I should use a different card to pay or insert the card in the machine. She was then even rude to my companion who paid for her food separately and actually got what she ordered. I understand that sometimes mistakes are made and the wrong food or drink is sent out. But being able to graciously admit to mistakes and fixing the problem rather than getting angry at the customer would have fixed the issues immediately & would have improved my experience immensely... And my rating would have been higher. Hopefully the owners of 4 leaves takes this feedback on board, as this type of bratty behaviour from your staff will guarantee you a loss of customers. Please do better next time, I know youh guys are...
