I travel all over Victoria looking for quality Breweries and Bakeries. I've recently opened a Facebook page on this subject so others can share and collect information. Hard Road Brewing was a total surprise after googling (brewery near me) when cruising the Dandenongs. This brewery is up there with the best. Plenty of seating in a well layed out venue. Plenty of beer options with a great variety of beers. The copper caravan at the entrance provides fantastic Pub Grub. There Stroganoff beaf burger and chips was superior quality. Tanya behind the bar was amazing to deal with. She knows her stuff with the best personality. I recommend Hard Road at the most highest level. I'll be going back. Murray Venn

I truly don't often leave 5-star reviews... who's really perfect? But this gem of a find deserves every star. From the time my wife and I walked up to the snazzy gold Airstream camper-turned-food-truck, to the time we left an hour+ later, we were made to feel welcome by the friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff. The black beans on fries were *excellent *—a generous 2-person portion and a perfect accompaniment to the tasty brews (chestnut & chameleon) Whoever picked the music for Sunday arvo has good taste—fun, smart tunes from the 70s at the RIGHT volume. A small point to some... but loud, repetitive crap drives me away faster than bad food! We'll be back.

A wonderful brewery hiding in Bayswater's industrial area. They are brewing up some really interesting beers, from Little Ludwig Lager, through pale ales and ESB to brown ales and stouts. In particular the Drongo's Revenge ESB is a malt driven beauty reminiscent of an English best bitter. There is also a great range of guest beers from all over Victoria, as well as cider, wine and spirits if beer is not your thing. The space is large with plenty of seating. The attitude is casual, the staff brilliant - really friendly and know their stuff. A little tricky to find (use Google Maps!) but well worth the trip.

Having family visiting from the country we were looking for somewhere local to go on Saturday at lunchtime and after googling local breweries Hardroad came up and we decided to give them a try. We were all highly impressed from the moment we walked up the driveway and received a warm welcome from the food van and that continued from the moment we stepped into this well designed and thought out brewery. A big thanks to Tanya behind the bar for handling our big order of beers, cocktails, kids milkshakes and coffees with old fashioned friendly customer service and a great knowledge of the beers, and also to Adam for his great table service and humour. Our kids all loved him, at first they were upset that he wouldn’t let them play the darts (fair enough too!) but straight away he distracted them from that by setting them up the cornball game, told them if they could tell him a joke that made him laugh he would buy them a game of pool and had some laughs with them which kept them happy for hours while we got to relax. We were planning on staying 1-2 hours not 5! Lastly, after a delicious feed of burgers, fries and sauces and ice creams from the food van our afternoon was complete!! Thanks again to the team, it is very obvious they all love what they do. I hope they are all appreciated for their hard work and we will definitely be...

An amazing find. Made the trek from Pakenham, and whilst feeling slightly dubious as I turned into an industrial estate, and having not glanced at any pictures online of the place to know what I was in for beforehand, let me just say, this is a quality venue.

Warm and friendly from the get go, you are greeted by the delicious scent of the hotplate, cooking up jucy patties. Open the front door and you will be impressed by the tasteful, black and wood styling, accentuated by an array of brewing tanks and pipes. My kinda place.

Great selection of beers available, nice and heavy but a good range of IPAs, double IPAs, stouts, lagers and dark ales.

$10 for a pint on a Sunday. What??!! Dang! Heaps of seating, nice and warm, gentle tunes playing, a FREE pool table and dart board, ample toilet facilities, beautiful artwork up on the walls, and when it was time to order food, I received a hearty boiger with the lot, fresh as a spring garden, full of flavour, with a side of nicely cooked fries (although they could have been a little crispier). To top it all off, the kids meals were FREE!! geez. We need a place like this in Pakenham. Will definitely revisit. An awesome place. A gem. Staff are also magnificent and friendly. Great hospitality. They do things right here! Massive kudos. Just come and see...

Well, where do I begin... It's the grand final day, and I can't really fault them for having the AFL GF on the telly, but other than that, wow... the food, drink, and service was just superb. The chefs hot dawg that was, almost an affront to the gods at how good it was. I would also love to mention the absolute best onion rings of my life, but they weren't on the menu, and I don't want to make them do extra work if people read this.. (But ask them nicely, if they make them, you'll be glad you did!) We also asked to put on the Rugby Union, which is almost a swear word in these parts nowadays, but after trying 3 or 4 different ways they put it on for us. The sheer effort they went to for the 5 of us, was astounding. I really can't articulate how great this brewery is and how welcoming and happy all the staff are. Definitely would recommend to not only friends but anyone who might walk past me. 10/10 hot dawgs n...
