I came in after reading the reviews! We’re extremely new to the area & was disappointed by another local fishnchip shop. My son is extremely fussy when it comes to potato cakes 😅 My first impression when I walked in was, it’s clean & fresh. There was an older gentleman sitting waiting for his regular Friday night fishn chips, then to young lads came in greeting the shop owners by their names! Was a huge tick for me, tells me they’re well loved & respected in the community. Anywho, I explain to the lovely lady at that about my son’s fussiness, we both had a laugh, she was so amazing. I also grabbed the famous cheese & garlic potato cakes. Well needless to say, they’ve definitely gained two more regular customers. Was 10/10 & that potato is next...

Best and tastiest burgers! I especially love their chips. Even at busy times Hungry Zaks are happy to tailor make an order. (I always ask for the $2.50 junior chips well done and extra chicken salt) And they are perfect! And deliciously crunchy and tasty 👌💯 I had a BLT cheeseburger and Hungry Zaks added a wee treat of a few of their yummy chips. Such a lovely surprise! What a terrible experience tonight at this takeaway. I rang up placed an order all good. When I got home it was wrong. That's ok I understand it's a busy night but when I returned to the establishment I could NOT believe how rude the man was there. I was nearly in tears when I left. I will NEVER return.
