Hi, yes it's Uncle Bob Your Delivery Pro back once again for another (unfortunately) sharp review.
Upon reviewing other's reviews there seems to be a trend forming and it's not a good one. Back 5-7 years ago it looks as though the reviews were much better compared to now. And, sadly it seems to me to be an accurate representation. I've never had any food from this establishment so I won't be commenting on that obviously. However, I have completed many deliveries for them over many years, and can confirm the complaints of a decrease in service quality. There have been times of bright resurgence (where I think perhaps they've turned a corner) but I'm soon proven wrong with a string of discourteous, quite embarrassingly low quality experiences when collecting the orders.
I have little doubt at all, that any reviews received from orders I've delivered for them would be great (but will point out, that the way deliveries are carried out isn't within their power at all and any reviews blaming them for the way the order was delivered need to be viewed with that in mind.)
Unfortunately, after tonight's fiasco it is finito. I won't be completing any more deliveries for JP's. There is always a point where one must call it for what it is. I arrived, was told 7 minutes and I left without the order an hour later. It was busy when I entered (so some delay could be expected) but not so by the time I left. This in effect pushed another customer's order to being extremely late as it was bundled in the same delivery offer on the platform I was using.
As I mentioned above, this is a clear trend that I (and clearly many others) have observed and shared reviews regarding. Recommendations would be to improve professionalism, stop mucking about, and ensure that the customer is getting what they need, and the driver's are assisted in the best way possible to avoid delays due to some (now me) drivers declining offers to deliver for you.

Read moreAn absolutely terrible experience!!!. We have ordered here, previously, a few times but have never been treated with such disregard. We ordered 3 pizza's (one chicken satay, one with the lot, and one GF vege), chips, 2 garlic breads, chips and a Greek salad. To start with the salad was barely half full. We then opened the chips and they looked like they had been cooked and left to sit, all shrivelled and sunken, in fact I'm certain this was the case. The pizza bases are not the same, they are factory made, rubbery and absolutely disgusting! Their previous base was fresh and fluffy. I don't know what they are thinking using this rubbish. On top of this the GF vege pizza turned out to be chicken which my 86yo father was about to eat and I stopped him.
I called the shop and told them about the pizza and their excuse was they the guys making them must have seen that it had spinach and thought it's a chicken pizza. I had to ask them to make another one and I was asked to bring the chicken pizza back. We took both the GF pizza and the chips back. The "lady" we spoke to was rude and non apologetic. We showed her the chips and told her they were cold when they arrived and can't eat them, but the pizza's were still hot. Her excuse was they are made fresh but the uber driver has to come get them. I reminded her the pizza's were hot and she did not care. She blamed the uber driver and refused to make a fresh batch. Bottom line is they deserve less than one star. Read moreIt's amazing being a loyal customer and tonight l was charged $5 for delivery even though lm only 800 metres away. When making the order via phone l was told the minimum delivery amount needs to be $15. Ok l hit that $15 target but to my surprise when it was delivered it was $20. I called the shop and they responded by saying that it was there mistake and l should have been told. Firstly l have ordered many times up to the minimum amount and of over of $15 and never charged a delivery fee. Why tonight? I think this is pathetic even though admitting their mistake nothing was done to compensate me. Menulog will charge me less for delivery .
