I shop regularly at Lalor Plaza and buy coffee or snacks at Lalor Plaza Coffee shop. Up until today I found the serving ladies courteous and food satisfactory ( for take away food) Today I had my seven year old granddaughter with me. She wanted hot chips and two potato cakes. These were nice and fresh, however she likes to dip these into sauce. I asked if they had a small container or if I could buy a paper coffee cup and put a bit of sauce into it so she could dip her chips in. The ladies declined. I asked if I could talk to the manager. They informed me that the Asian lady in the background was the manager. I asked politely if I may buy a take away coffee cup and put a bit if sauce into it , so my granddaughter could dip her chips. I said whatever the cost, one or two dollars or whatever. She’s only seven and a fussy eater. This lady called out No, go to Coles and buy your own sauce. What was she thinking that I was going to squirt the whole bottle into a paper cup?.. Plus , here we’re dealing with a child. I was appalled and told her that she was rude and had no customer service skills. As I said, the take away food is nice and fresh ( for take away menu) the serving ladies are pleasant but this Asian lady, I don’t know if she’s the owner or the manager but she’s doing the business injustice and has a lot to learn in dealing...
