Mad Shak's Cafe Dandenong — Restaurant in Melbourne

We absolutely love Mad Shaks Café at our office. We've ordered from them many times through Uber Eats and it's always been a smooth experience. No issues, just great food and service every time. One of the things we really appreciate is the attention to detail. They often include little notes with our orders, which is such a thoughtful and personal touch. It always puts a smile on our faces.

I personally can’t get enough of their tuna toasties. They use really good quality sourdough and the filling is packed full of flavour. It’s not your average tuna and mayo situation—it’s more like a gourmet version that always arrives hot and satisfying.

Their coffee is also a standout. The iced coffees are a favourite in our office and give us the perfect pick-me-up during the day.

Overall, Mad Shaks consistently delivers delicious food and great coffee. Every order leaves us happy and full....

A couple of weeks ago I was talking food with the owner of Mad Shak's while waiting for my order (Reuben was great by the way), and he was insistent that I need to try the Angus truffle burger.

This week I came back in to give it a go and oh my lord. Their truffle burger is so good, you won't bother driving to the city to go to Easey's or Grand Trailer Park Taverna. This is the real deal and honestly, cheaper than it should be for the quality of it.

Next time I go back it's going to be a problem deciding what I want, but not where I want it from. I am shocked to find a burger that good, that isn't in a bougie hipster venue...
