Pizza Lioni — Restaurant in Melbourne

This is one of the most delicious AND delightful woodfired pizza spots in Melbourne's southern suburbs. The pizza's are scrumptious with the beautiful woodfired base, crisp, bubbly and thin base with a gorgeous range of clsssic and gourmet toppings. We love the souvlaki gourmet pizza which has plenty of delicious, real lamb and a garlic sauce on it. We also love the prosciutto pizza with heaps of real proscuitto on it. The combination of the delicious woodfired base with real, quality toppings that you can taste is wonderful and hard to find.

The service is impeccable. The staff are extremely friendly, very efficient and personal. For a busy pizza place on a Friday night, I had my pizza ordered and cooked within 20 to 25 minutes! Hurrah! The prices are great too especially considering the quality of the pizza, the service and they are filling!

Love it on the first time trying out! We had the half n half pizza, garlic & pepperoni in one base. The garlic side is so good, the toppings stick to the base not like the other places that we tried before, especially the tip of the slice doesn't fall off which showed a really well made pizza as well as the taste. It's so savoury and the cheese is so good that it's going to be my place for pizza from now on The pepperoni is good as well, the salami is perfect not salty like other places and it mixed so well with the rich & flavourful tomato sauce. Overall, it's probably the best pizza in the area, this will be my pizza place from now on as well, especially when the topping is sticking to the base and not falling off. I used to visit this pizza place regularly. They offer a wide selection with over 40 different types of pizzas to choose from. The space is small, but parking is convenient since it’s located at a Seven-Eleven gas station. The staff is always busy and not particularly friendly. Despite visiting more than 10 times, none of them ever seem to remember me. There is no Hi or any conversation. Although their closing time is listed as 22:30, it’s unreliable—I once went at 22:15, and they had already turned off the oven, so I couldn’t place an order. The pizza itself is average—neither particularly good nor bad—and the seafood toppings are made from frozen ingredients. While I’m not satisfied with the taste, it is the most affordable...
