Really surprised with all of the positive reviews, perhaps the team weren't having the best night? The portions were large and we enjoyed the calamari and garlic bread entree. We also ordered the moussaka (highlight) , chicken curry (called Sri Lankan Chicken Tikka curry but Chicken Tikka is traditionally an Indian dish; tasty), the Parma (very dry) and Pad Thai (called as "traditional" but this couldn't have been further from the truth and was extremely salty). Absolutely amazing, I was on a long road trip this week and my last night was spent in Healesville. I am not exaggerating when I say that it was the best food I had all week. I had the fried calamari and the Pad Thai (tamarind forward, just the way it should be) which were stunning, but the star of the show had to be the ice cream with macarons (pictured). Yet another fabulous evening at Sanctuary Resort Restaurant. Delicious well presented food with the highlight being a magnificent Persian love cake which was made especially on request for my daughters birthday.
