Really surprised with all of the positive reviews, perhaps the team weren't having the best night? The portions were large and we enjoyed the calamari and garlic bread entree. We also ordered the moussaka (highlight) , chicken curry (called Sri Lankan Chicken Tikka curry but Chicken Tikka is traditionally an Indian dish; tasty), the Parma (very dry) and Pad Thai (called as "traditional" but this couldn't have been further from the truth and was extremely salty). Staff were nice but not very attentive (for example, we asked questions regarding ingredients and was told they'd come back after asking the chef, but no response - we were the only ones in the restaurant) and the restaurant was cold.

Absolutely amazing, I was on a long road trip this week and my last night was spent in Healesville. I am not exaggerating when I say that it was the best food I had all week. I had the fried calamari and the Pad Thai (tamarind forward, just the way it should be) which were stunning, but the star of the show had to be the ice cream with macarons (pictured). A pity I was only here the one night to enjoy this food! Everything on the menu was so tempting, I will definitely plan another trip round these parts and indulge again!

Great staff and food! The waitress was very kind, the portions were big, and the food was excellent! We had the in-house baked Brioche and Sourdough bread which was amazing, and the crumbed fish, and Greek Moussaka (pictured).

Yet another fabulous evening at Sanctuary Resort Restaurant. Delicious well presented food with the highlight being a magnificent Persian love cake which was made especially on request for my daughters birthday. The service is always on point there, wines are of a high quality and surprisingly economical but the stand out for us is the quality of food. Chris their chef can execute simple dishes such as Mousaka or spring rolls with a flair for flavour and presentation that keeps us...
