Veneto Club — Restaurant in Melbourne

Been given the opportunity to meet some of the best & most positive people who have fun & actually care about the company they surround themselves with. I'm going to share the most important mantra & 1 of lifes most important rules.... "DON'T LET ANYONE STEAL YOUR JOY OF LIFE!" THANKS👍MY FRIEND HENRY🙏 I NOW have to mention that I was invited by a very inspirational & generous Man who I am proud to call my dear friend, to the Veneto club on Sunday for father's Day. My partner & I are lucky to be able to boast (humbly of course) that we are actually self acclaimed: "#1 GROUPIES" LoL 😂🤣😂 of the best band ever; 💕"The B-Sharps"💕 Playing & singing songs from the heart & soul, including Jazzy to Swing & I have to go on about how I could not refrain from the urge to dance & be merry!! Thanks also to the latest up & coming young starlet "Monica" who sang her heart out & made us feel that the best of life is still coming limitlessly. Lastly I have to question you; Do you remember; "Hey Hey it's Saturday"??!? Because of the few people who have been a great joy to see perform is the quirky & very cool; 💕"Wilbur Wild"💕 It was the icing on the cake 🎂🍰 giving the atmospheric feeling of a upcoming shift in the energy of Gaia 🌏 Turning to a literal polar shift, on the flow to get to a most prosperous new direction of the most important timeline now. From end of 2020 brought an end of the traumaticly chaotic age of "Kali Yurga"!!

Channeled Spirit Rant: We are blessed to be here now on earth at this crucial point of choosing to either lower or raise the vibrational frequency of positivity, love, joy, contentment & trust. Meditate or use mindfulness to usher in a great flow of positive energy, as this is super important to be a conductive source for light from the sun to act as a living breathing acupuncture pin of light. Yes, this is correct, I'm given 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the food and kitchen staff only, but the service of floor staff and atmosphere really is below zero quality Why am I saying this? On Sunday the 29/12/24 at around 11:45am I've booked a table for two to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary, the person who took the booking told me not sure about a table, but just come in and we'll sort it out, I then insist to make sure because I was coming from 40km away and I didn't want to waste my trip she then ask for my phone number when this is never happened before because I've been coming to the club since 1973 and my name and number is always appearing on the booking system, and this was the first upsetting of the day. We then arrived at the restaurant and ordered: Veal parmigiana for me and Tagliata di manzo, for my wife which comes with: wild rocket, roast peppers, wallnut salad and shaved cheese. there was instead of rocket: little radicchio mixed with iceberg lettuce, very little wallnut, no peppers and the cheese was grated instead of shaved. When I called the waiter and told him, he replied: they've run out of rocket and replace with what they have, i said they should of mentioned when we ordered, we don't have to eat what they give us but exactly what we want at the same time he was offering cooked vegetables or dessert to cover up the mistake and try to convince my wife to eat what she didn't ordered, because of all the inconvenience caused i was very agitated and disappointed I've raised my voice and for this reason I was called "very rude offensive person" I'm sorry to say, this is very poor, unprofessional, childish way for the best Club in Melbourne that I've come across for years and very disturbances of this kind is not acceptable. I'm Italian myself and for me to travel 40km away and 40km return, i was very affectionate to the Club and it was worthy to do so, but after this I cannot recommend to anyone any more. However; after my 25 anniversary celebration was ruined and upset and lost my appetite we've come to conclusion to get my refund, and instead of getting an apology for what happened I was told not to come to Veneto Club any more "just like a criminal" My thoughts are that all those young "uneducated kids" are ruin the best Family Club in Melbourne, unfortunately (before this incident happened) I've heard bad reputation from many people who are frequenting the Club (not very nice) but I didn't want to believe until this happen to me. My suggestion is to review the whole process, and come to good results and please (safe this Family Club) for us to enjoy for years to come Veneto Club needs respectable people to understand what "RESTAURANT" means as it has been for the...

Veneto Club is a great venue, but the use of disposable coffee cups for patrons inside is both wasteful and concerning. While takeaway cups make sense for those grabbing a coffee to go, handing them out to people sitting at the venue—especially those spending hours at the slot machines—is completely unnecessary.

From an environmental standpoint, these cups contribute significantly to landfill waste. Despite appearing to be paper, they contain a thin plastic lining that makes them difficult to recycle. Millions of these cups end up in landfills and waterways, breaking down into harmful microplastics that pollute the environment for generations.

Even more troubling are the health risks. When hot, acidic coffee comes into contact with the plastic lining, it can leach endocrine-disrupting chemicals and microplastics into the drink. Regular exposure to these chemicals has been linked to hormone imbalances, metabolic disorders, and other serious health concerns.

As slot machine players, we might not be directly paying for these coffees, but we are most certainly paying much more for them with the money we put through the machines. The least we should expect is a proper ceramic cup rather than a disposable one. It’s a simple, sensible change that would reduce waste, protect customers’ health, and enhance the overall experience at the venue.

Until this policy changes, unfortunately, I’ll have to find another slot machine...
