We came on the 12th June 2024 from Melbourne , I was just doing Google search anything to eat around Fingal, and this restaurant came up on the first suggestions with highest rating so we went there for brunch :) First of all :- the restaurant clean ,neat and decorated well it does definitely look like a fine wine and fine dining place but have home touch feeling too Second of all :- the lady who served us definitely such a sweet person, she’s beautiful Inside out , constantly smiling and she’s friendly and she make sure our food and drinks are all amazing , love her to bits :) genuinely best person Third of all :- the food omg every bites was mind blowing , you can tell chef put all their love into it, food quality so super fresh , the taste is super good , and I like how they have entree size and main size cause their food is good makes you wanna try everything on the menu . P.S :- do yourself favor if anyone saw my review try everything their menu especially the Japanese scallops and their Japanese Inspired linguine pasta Overall 10/10 rating for me Price reasonable Scallops actually from Japan 🇯🇵 Quality of food fresh Best hospitality service Great environment after food we went to the beach opposite for walk We went there for lunch and came back for dinner too and definitely would come all the way from Melbourne just to dine there and go home 😝 Junni here Love ❤️ thanks for your lovely services.

Five friends enjoyed the most sensational lunch at Veraison today. We were greeted by Cherie whose hospitality skills are flawless , with our wine and food orders being taken in a timely manner. ( Also , Cherie happily prepared a cocktail NOT among their usual offerings. ) Our choices of Japanese scallops, barramundi, mushroom soufflé and tempura fish & chips were all superbly prepared and presented. Five VERY clean plates went back to the kitchen. The desserts too, were magnificent - creme brulee x 4 and the Japanese cheesecake. The ambience and decor were lovely , the place was busy and the whole experience was faultless. HIGHLY recommend this hidden treasure 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Had dinner with my Mum here while we were staying at Mornington Peninsula. It was recommended by Peppers Moonah Links so we thought we'd give it a try. It's known as a fine dining restaurant and at first, it's quite unassuming. Quite a quaint, relaxed atmosphere with romantic lighting and beach ornaments and decorations. We had the salmon and barramundi mains, two lemon lime and bitters, and the vacherin and parfait desserts. The food was absolutely beautiful - very morish and tasty with a palette of flavours. The service was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Overall, it allowed us to have a wonderful mother-daughter dinner. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Honestly not sure where to start.

Firstly, booking a reservation was unnecessarily hard. We placed a booking online for 8pm through the website only for it to sit as pending for quite some time and not get approved. After a while we decided to call to check if our booking came in only to be told that they don't do bookings after 8pm. We said okay no worries , despite that seeming odd, and asked if they do walk ins to which they said they were at capacity already but they can bring our reservation forward to 7:30 instead to which we agreed. When we got there, there was only 2 other tables that had customers so we were confused by what they meant about being full.

Upon arrival, you notice these very strange tall clear walls that separate all the tables that make you feel like covid is back in town. Strange napkin art as to try and seem fine dining but then have a fish bowl with a 50cent candle in it on the side of the table and a large piece of sqaure paper covering the table cloth. To then sit down and find that the menu does not match the online website at all and seems to have been downgraded in quality but certainly maintained its price.

Simple things like roasted chat potatoes as sides being replaced with pubstyle chips for 16 dollars.

My partner and I had no issue looking past this and kept our hopes high and ordered the scotch fillet, which at 55 dollars we expected to more than tasty.

Once more, after ordering our steaks medium, then hearing the waiter tell the cook two medium rare, then getting steaks that were raw we were rather disappointed.

The biggest disappointment about it is that the steak actually had great seasoning and flavour, but was inedible due to the rawness.

If the cook paid more attention to the food rather than the footy game on his phone that he was swearing at then maybe it would've been cooked better.

At a total price of 148 dollars for 2 steaks , 1 side of chips and 2 soft drinks we expected a nice, tasty meal with aspirations of coming back again but this is...

The food was very good. Unfortunately the service was so unprofessional it was unbelievable - we would have complained to the owner or manager, however we then discovered the unprofessional staff member was the owner! We were shocked at her use of profanity and over-familiarity but could have looked past that. Unfortunately, her over-familiarity resulted in a conversation in which she disclosed that a mutual acquaintance had died by suicide, and when we expressed sadness she told us she was glad he had passed away and went into great detail about why. It was completely insensitive, rude, and unacceptable. Another unfortunate exchange resulted in her lying about another local establishment (something that was easily confirmed by a quick google search) - presumably to try and big-note herself, which only served to make her seem even more ignorant. She also demeaned one of her staff in front of customers which was completely unnecessary. All of the above left a sour taste in our mouths and we left very disappointed and upset. The owners should consider hiring a professional maitre'd or manager to run the floor and this woman is clearly unable to understand social cues or professional boundaries. As local residents with significant experience and connections in the local hospitality industry, this woman has not done her family business any favours. At over $100/head for the meal and wine, one expects professional and socially acceptable service, and her comments about a person who suicided are not acceptable anywhere. We will not return, and will not be recommending the establishment to...
