Club Merbein — Restaurant in Merbein

Worst service ever. On a table of 16 people We waited almost 3 hrs between the 1st meal being served to the last. When the last people asked not to have their meals cooked and just get a refund we were told the meals had been cook 10 minutes prior and we had to take them and not get a refund. At which point we still didn't have these meals so I could only asume it was sitting on a bench or in a bamarie for the said 10 minutes. After back and fro with the manager who has no idea of what customer service is she said we could have them as takeaway if we wanted. And offered a $25voucher which was far less than the cost of the meal. We were told that it was because they had to serve the local rotary club 1st even though we had ordered prior to their arrival. And that they were training new staff. And after speaking to the manager who spoke to us like it was somehow our fault. The meal turns out to be pretty mediocre. Pretty disappointed when you try to support small local community clubs it would be nice to be treated with a little country...

Do not have your venues here, i attended a venue, where the staff were very rude and told us off for going into the toilet, wouldn't let me get my wallet from my car, and constantly interrupted conversations to ask what we were drinking (although we had purchased our water/soft drink at the bar). Anything that the staff said to us was said in an extremely rude manner with zero customer...

Had Roast lunch today. The meat was not as tender as it should be. And received a salad instead of roast vegetables. Maybe you have to ask for hot vegetables. Received chips which do not have anything to do with a roast. Would not purchase again unless I requested roast potatoes, peas, carrots, like a normal roast should be. The service was excellent.
