Joey's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Millicent

As Indian Brahmin one thing I have learned while visiting any restaurants or food outlets is asking that if the food item contains any meat or not. Similar thing happened today, I asked if the flat bread cooked with toppings contains any meat or not. I was informed that it contains no meat and all the ingredients were listed like olives, cheese, dried tomatoes, but I failed to notice the PROSCIUTTO in the ingredients (I did not know what that was until later). I was served with the dish took a bite noticed something that was unusual, went to counter called the person and asked if the flat bread served to me contains any meat. No, said the person at the counter. Then I pointed at the ingredient and again asked if that was meat? No, that is not meat that is PROSCIUTTO. Now what is PROSCIUTTO? It is dry-cured ham. IT IS MEAT. Lesson learned, but hard way. Thanks...

Unfortunately the worst service experience!! I ordered a pizza- told it would be 25mins. I sat down in the waiting area and then proceeded to wait- 25mins flew by- other people came in - sat down and got their pizza and even left- mine still did not appear- at the hour- I went to the counter and asked- a mistake had been made- my order had been lost- very disappointing that not one of the staff came to tell me this had occurred- they just let me sit there… for over an hour with no communication! When I spoke to the owner-I think- there was no remorse - no understanding that I had waited patiently … and when I asked for some consideration regarding this poor service - he said take your $20…. Service is disgusting to say the least, waited over and hour and two phone calls to ask were pizzas where. On second phone asked for manger and was met with aggression and was told did not receive order until 712 when husband had conformation text received at 535. If you can not handle get out of the game because clearly you have lost touch with how a business works and runs!! Edited* Then there is something wrong with your system because the text he reviewed at 530 said ready in 45 minutes and he was not rude to your staff he was up set that we had not received the pizzas and it was second phone call, to your place, so you can continue being smart if you like but other posts have stated that there is a problem with your online...
