The cafe had a warm, rustic vibe with brick walls and mismatched wooden tables that gave it a laid-back, homey feel. The soft music in the background made it the perfect spot for an afternoon hangout. The service was prompt and friendly. Our server was happy to offer suggestions and even recommended their signature Veg burger, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The Veg-burger was perfectly cooked, with a juicy, tender haloumi that was packed with flavor. The toasted soft bun held everything together without getting soggy. The melted cheddar and burger sauce were the perfect toppings, and the house-made ketchup gave it just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. The burgers were flavorful, and the service was top-notch. It’s the perfect spot for a casual lunch or dinner with friends, and I’d definitely be back to try more burgers from their menu. The Crumble Apple Pancakes were nothing short of spectacular. The pancakes themselves were fluffy and light, with a slight golden crisp on the edges. Topped with warm, caramelized apples and a buttery crumble that added the perfect crunch, it was a delightful combination of textures. The sweetness of the apples was balanced by just a hint of tartness, and the whole dish was drizzled with rich maple syrup,Nutella and Ice cream that tied everything together." I was especially impressed with how the chef HARPREET K had perfected the dish. They even took a moment to explain the fresh ingredients they use and the thought process behind the crumble topping. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it really made the meal stand out. Overall, the cafe was a delightful spot for brunch/lunch .The Crumble Apple Pancakes were a true standout, and the chef's attention to detail made the experience feel special. I’d highly recommend it for anyone craving a comforting, indulgent breakfast. I’ll definitely be coming back

Visited Sunday. Cafe was very busy, but we managed to grab a table. Based on reviews, we were anticipating good food. The specials board had lots of choices, but as it was only 11am, we opted for breakfast from their breakfast and lunch menu. Thirty-five minutes later, our food was brought out. We didn't mind the wait as it was busy. But we were disappointed with what was placed in front of us. My plate was chipped, and the mushrooms were cold and watery. The potato rosti (looked like hashbrowns to me) were very hard and difficult to cut. The sausages were not good, but the eggs were poached just right. So, was our breakfast edible. Yes. Was it enjoyable. No.

Just had the most amazing birthday breakfast at Ye Olde Cafe in Minlaton. The service was excellent, the atmosphere and decor was lovely, and most importantly, the food was DIVINE. I honestly had the best breakfast I've ever had. Not a joke. Zucchini and haloumi fritters with a poached egg, bacon and chili jam. My husband enjoyed the Eggs Benedict whilst our girls had the childrens' pancakes. There wasn't a scrap of food left on our plates, and the coffee (and baby cinos) were excellent as well. If you're visiting Minlaton, or simply passing through, stop in at Ye Olde Cafe. You will be VERY glad you did. We can't wait to go back!

We dropped in to the Cafe on a mid Saturday morning for an early lunch. Five of us sat and checked out the menu. The wide range of food on offer was surprising. I did wonder how so many different foods can be catered for in one establishment. I need not worry. We ordered Fish and chips, 2 Hamburgers and chips, Chicken satay with salad and Thai curry. All the food was sensational and most unexpected in its presentation and quality. We had coffee milkshakes to top off the meal. At this point it was about 12.15 pm and the shop was full of people. Probably 20 persons seated while some others were ordering at the counter. I talked with the Chef and passed on my congratulations for serving us a brilliant, unexpected and delightful meal. He did say that his mission was to serve food of high quality that cannot be sourced from other venues in the near vicinity. I told him we were very impressed, and we will come back on our next visit. A must do for all who enjoy food. 5...

Well, we came across this gem in our travels of Yorke Peninsula. Wow, the first indication it was good was the chatter you could hear as we approached the door. We were welcomed and given a seat quickly. We ordered coffee, carrot cake, and lemon cheese cake, which was delivered promptly. The coffee was the best I've had anywhere, and as for the fresh gorgeous tasting cake with soft, fresh philly icing and the beautifully fresh cheese cake , I have no other words than amazingly fresh and delicious. We were watching the food come out to the other patrons, and it all looked beautiful. The menu had something for everyone. The staff were lovely, polite, and hard-working. A wonderful asset to Minlaton, and we will definitely be returning to sample their...
