They really need to invest in a larger deep fryer. In summer waiting 35 minutes for a small bag of hot chips is unacceptable. Coffees were made first, so by the time the chips were ready the coffee was cold. I've since learnt most people spending a day at the river drive down to Kiama Downs for takeaway as its quicker then waiting at this place. UPDATE. We celebrated our 16th Wedding Anniversary @ this cafe and we enjoyed awesome, tasty, fresh food we loved the brekkie burger and fish n chips with the strawberry milkshake, hot chocolate loved the marshmallow just that the drink could have had some thick milk. The service was extraordinary warm, kind, quick service, and loved the staff very friendly and also received some wonderful compliments that made my day.☺️ Thank you Dear ones. We were very disappointed with the overall experience today. We have eaten here several times over the past few years and happily recommended the cafe to friends who would also be holiday visitors to the area. The two stars are for good coffee and a clean bathroom. We both ordered poached eggs on toast and coffees. My request for gluten free bread was accommodated but at an extra charge of AUD $2.50.
