My wife and I recently stayed at a caravan park that was home to Riverbank, a restaurant that I had read a glowing review about just a week before. The reviewer had described it as a must-visit, and I have to say that they were absolutely right. Riverbank is a five-star restaurant in disguise, with immaculate cleanliness and exceptional service. The owners are very particular about every aspect of the dining experience, and it shows in the attention to detail that they bring to every dish. From the moment we stepped through the door, we could tell that this was going to be an exceptional dining experience. The floor manager Justin and his team were very friendly and accommodating, and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The scallop special was out of this world, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who visits. If only we lived closer, we would come back all the time. If you ever find yourself in the area, make sure to stop by Riverbank for an unforgettable dining experience.

Read moreAfter dining at Riverbank Moama for coffee & cake and lunch in past visits, we finally enjoyed a Saturday night dinner. It was a long weekend but our booking with Emily was seamless. She carefully noted my challenging dietary restrictions and had passed these along to the chefs prior to my arrival. Our waitress, Mia, and chef Nicky, both tended to our needs with expertise and friendly service. They were able to advise me on which dishes would be safe and suitable options.
We ordered an entree of garlic bread and a small salt and pepper calamari. For the mains, we chose duck salad and fettuccine carbonara.
The food was plentiful, fresh and tasty. The wine list also offered a good selection. Unfortunately we were too full to consider the dessert menu.
Although a pricey little splurge, the venue, service and meals were all spot on, making this an enjoyable and memorable occassion.

Read moreWe popped in early tonight (Wednesdays in spring) just to have a look… the menu looked a little more upscale and we weren’t sure our young kids would be welcome (or their noise blend into the background as it can in more casual eateries). The lady who greeted my husband was a gem, she was so obliging with his enquiry and we were accommodated last minute to what very quickly became a full house! Mix of guests with some very well dressed, others like us in jeans and trainers but all were welcome and the staff were extremely attentive. The food was just amazing, my only two regrets for the night were not having the appetite to share the 1.2kg tomohawk, and having no room for the delicious looking chocolate mousse (and that take home portion was calling my name!).
Thanks again for having us, a wonderful experience had by all and a delightful surprise by...
