OK so today was the day that we packed the boys (k9kids)in the car and headed out for some brunch. After much searching, I happened to come across Three Black Sheep. Tony (husband) had the Chicken Buffalo Burger and I had the smashed avo. The Chicken Buffalo Burger, i'm assured was delightful and for myself the smashed avocado, well if you like avocado on sourdough, then you are in for a treat. The sourdough was not thick thankfully I believe it was cut at sandwich thickness the mint mixed through the avocado + the micro herbs, dukka and beetroot = yum, the side condiments - simply delightful. Further, the owner of the business a lovely lady, due to a fault on orderding swapped the short black over for a cappuccino. So generous.
From a pet friendly perspective, wow. Certainly dogs are to be kept on lead but there is so much outside seating space and fresh water for our beloved K9Kids.
I would both thoroughly and strongly recommend taking yourself for a Sunday drive to get great service, great food and if you are dog crazy like we are, its an extremely pet friendly environment.
See you again soon.
Thankyou...
Read moreMy wife and child were turned away and declined service at 1.10pm for lunch. Even though it was raining outside and diners were eating inside. Reason we were given was 'that it wasn't busy enough and we closed the kitchen early' - even though it was a long weekend. They cited the Grandfinal as the reason even though the Grandfinal isn't till the nightime. How are you going to be busy if you turn away patrons at 1.10 for lunch? There was at least 5 staff standing around and we could easily have been accomodated with a hospitable attitude. They clearly failed the hospitality test and we had to walk out back into the rain and head up to the Golf Club for lunch. Such a poor lost opportunity and a lack of desire to be of service. Was told on the way out - oh you can have a takeaway coffee. If that was so then why couldn't they offered to sit us down for coffee and allowed to have something from the display fridge. Just lacking, unfriendly and uncaring. Not a...
Read moreOne of the best cafes in the Echuca/Moama area always providing wonderful, friendly and efficient service, the best coffee, beautiful meals in a clean and comfortable environment. Inside or outside seating is available. I have coffee every morning at Three Black Sheep and sometimes it awaits me on the counter as I walk up. The staff are one of the best teams I have ever encountered. Everyone of them remembers names and coffee orders for so many locals. We regularly have lunch and have always enjoyed a tasty, colourful, fresh and healthy meal. Thanks to Anna, Luke, Jason, Emma, Brigit, Mia, Zac, Skylar, , and every other 3BS team member, there is a smile, chat, usually a laugh and strong, invigorating coffee awaiting to start each and every day in the best...
