Look I’m not gonna sit here and act like it’s the best kfc I’ve ever had but given some pretty obvious understaffing issues it’s pretty good. I was passing through with my family and the service they gave although slow and rushed was great. I can tell it’s all a very young staff and they do what they can. My one problem with the store is the customers. It’s quite obvious to me a lot of you guys seriously have never worked a job in retail or fast food, I’ve walked into fast food establishments and heard blasting music seen very unsanitary conditions and just overall tomfoolery involving staff members. I was in there I think a couple days ago and had a tradie woman in the dining room with me. She sat there and yelled like a little child at the obviously very young manager about the wait on her food granted it was one burger. But she sat there throwing a little temper tantrum and then when she was told that 3 staff members decided not to show she told the manager it wasn’t good enough. The manager was obviously very stressed already, a bit before this she was on her phone which I later heard was because she was asking the store manager for help. The tradie “woman” although I feel as if a woman should act a bit more mature, told her “well that’s no excuse, do you not know how to multitask” as if that’s not already what she’s trying to do with next to no one helping her. You all need to pull your heads in. If your in a rush and don’t have 30 minutes to an hour to spare don’t get fast food or maybe cook something yourselves. It shouldn’t be up to a bunch of teenagers to take care of you bc you can’t look after yourselves. It really frustrates me especially with kids myself to see you lot who can’t respect or understand the stuff you put these kids through because of dumb little things. Especially considering 85% of the time the things your complaining about can be easily fixed. And I understand sometimes you’ll get attitude from the other staff at these places but that’s the case for all 14-17 year olds. Let’s not act like...
Read moreThe place is trashed. Bins overflowing, floor covered in food, crap on every single surface, the most putrid looking kitchen I’ve ever seen. C’mon KFC, you’ve got an open kitchen and customers can see everything. This is gross. None of your food handlers are wearing gloves either
Edit: to be clear, I am not blaming the obviously very young and poorly managed staff. There was not an adult manager in sight and they were clearly overwhelmed. No, I’m not going to ‘reach out’ anywhere else. Fact: your kitchen was putrid. There was trash in the kitchen over-flowing onto the floor. There was discarded food coating the floor. There was rubbish…everywhere. In every surface. This was in plain sight of both the dining room and the drive through.
The staff there were young, seemingly unsupervised, and unmanaged. It was also very busy. That said, a well managed workplace allows time for periodic cleaning of stations and sections and the obvious failure to maintain sanitary conditions points to poor management in the more senior ranks. For gods sake, support and train your young workforce. If it’s that chaotically busy that basic cleaning cannot be managed by the staff on duty, that points to rostering failures and poor management.
No, I won’t be escalating my complaint to the link detailed in your response because I don’t think it’s the fault of your obviously young and untrained and unsupported staff. This is a...
Read moreOn Tuesday the 24th of September at approximately 4:30 I went into kfc to order a regular bacon and cheese zinger combo. Upon opening my chips I was disgusted to find a small black hair. I proceeded to walk up to the front counter to tell them about this. I informed the male teenager about this and he replied to me in a very condescending tone “are you sure that it’s not yours?” I replied “yeah, I’m sure, I only just opened them”. He then says “where is it then?” I proceed to find the hair and show it to him. He than rudely shakes his head and scoffed as he walked away. He then came back with another regular chips to give me whilst saying to his friend loud enough for me to hear “this guy” in a very condescending tone yet again. I was very annoyed by this but still sat down to enjoy my meal. Once I started eating my new box of chips I was annoyed, yet again, to find that there was no salt on my chips. This left a very bad tastes in my mouth as the worker, aged around 16-17, was extremely rude. I hope this complaint will be taken seriously and the staff member dealt with...
