So, my girl friend tells me about this amazing bakehouse in Falcon, that also has an outlet in Myalup. Appearance, well, big metal fence - not very inviting. Strange solid door that needs to be open and a small selection of drinks. At the counter we chose a ham, cheese and Dijon mustard Turkish, as well as a apple slice, an Almond Raspberry slice and a latte for my partner. I has a bottle of orange juice. We asked for it to be served on a plate and for some forks. To our surprise, that wasn't available. We were given cardboard trays and had to get forks out of our car. Let's start with the coffee. So hot it burned my fiance's mouth, and she wasn't able to drink it until 20 or so minutes later. The Turkish. Not sure where the cheese was, I never tasted it. Ham, also hardly there and very low quality. I would say cheap and nasty - but we paid a pretty penny for it. The Raspberry almond slice - dry is what my partner said. Overpriced and tasteless would be my comment. Apple slice. Yes, not sure why they called it that. Cinnamon slice would have been more appropriate, because that's all I could taste. We both regretted not having bought much cheaper food at a BP we stopped at earlier, as that looked so much better. So my question is: What are these awards they are referring to at their sign? Award for highest profit made by trading on a good name from another location? Or award for most average food on Forrest Highway at grossly inflated prices? Either way, we won't be back.

Having read the mixed reviews, I can only truthfully said our experience has been a good one. We had a stopover rest break here while on site for work on a weekday, and the location was lovely, quiet and clean. Southbound on the Forrest Hwy, it’s just after the Crooked Carrot cafe and before Marriott Road. The female counter staff was polite, and yes the coffee and mocha were piping hot, but that was actually our preference so it suits us. There is a Drive Through service too for those who prefer to drive, buy & away. The place was clean overall, including the outside area & the toilet facilities are located out the door. As pies are what they are famous for, i had to have one of their pies (beef & mushroom) with my mocha, and it was delicious, hot and hit the spot. Overall a very pleasant short stopover to rest and refuel for safety reason on a wet day.

A great selection of warm pies and sweet treats. We purchased a vegetarian pastie, an original sausage roll, which were both very tasty, a vanilla slice, which was a large portion with heaps of custard, and a flat white which was very nice. We sat outside to eat. There are plenty of tables and chairs, trees to sit under, and there is also an area for the kids to play. It also has the KangaArt located here. Public toilets are available, and there is also a drive through option. The only downside is the instore ordering can be a bit chaotic. There are no indications of where to queue, and it was so busy, people were trying to see what was in the cabinet, but you didn't know who was already queuing. It would be good if they improved this to make ordering quicker and easier.

Well, it is sure that you have best pie in wa! You deserve 10 starts but as you would understand we have to consider all when we comment! Coming to your store and feeling pandemic it is just stressful.. no siting inside permitted.. all takeaway service.. still.. all cafes around wa have table service but you have not and this is very stressful. Surly this makes save wages.. Let’s stop this.. table outside all dusty and dirty. 3 staff behind the counter no one did mind coming out and check. Rubbish bin full. Ordered coffee with kids thinking one of those staffs kindly would bring my coffee out. But nope! Didn’t happen. The guy inside one arm on top the coffee machine looking at me like “hey to come inside”. come on man! move and you come to me!! So I can come back to you!! I really miss Melville store! Used to go and have 5 start customer service. Can’t remember manager name but I do remember that he was Italian I guess. That was where you can have best service.. will come back for pies hoping to get better service! any way up hope my comment help to improve...

Will never go there again. Service was BAD. Stopped for lunch on way back to Perth. Ordered a drink, a pie (which they did not have) so had to get another type. Ordered chips also. Was given my pie and drink and started waiting for the chips. 10 minutes later still no chips! Asked how long they would be and no one could tell me and all looked perplexed. 5 minutes later they came out with a serve of chips and handed to another patron who had ordered only a few minutes beforehand! I asked where my chips were again and more silence and perplexed looks. Finally chips came out and we’re just rudely handed at me with not one word of an apology or anything. I asked an older lady to speak to the manager and she advised she was it! I told her what had happened and it was honestly like talking to a brick wall. Left with hot chips and cold pie that cost me just under $20. Never again. They need to get rid of all the young servers who have NO idea what customer service is OR teach them some, especially for the prices...
